Crap.  Not gonna make it.  Too much stupidity interfering.

I'll finish my project up eventually and show it off - but it won;t be by the deadline for this competition.

I am wondering if anyone has emailed an entry? I have so much going on there is no way I will finish mine up on time. Anyone other than me and Doc in the same boat? Is there any way we could get a 2 week extention on the entries?

To be honest, I don't know if anyone else is even entering this.  Doc was the only one we'd heard from at all.  I'll see what Wayne says about it.

Anyone planning to enter this contest please respond. If there is a 2 week extention I will enter. Is anyone else planning on entering?

Well, if the judges offer an extension, I'll take it and tell my external problems to go jump.  (a certain someone and his bloody website being at the top of the list...)

I'm entering it, I've been working on it non-stop these last three weeks, every little extra time I get, I was still risking getting it in at the last second, so I'd welcome an extension.

haven't heard back from anyone, so it's crunch time, got one major thing to paint still, a couple more things to detail up and then some dry brushing... :(

Looks like it's just us 3.... I really think you guys should change the yearly Diorama contest to being in the Spring/Summer... I think you'd have more people entering as they'd be able to take over their garages/patios and stuff outside. There were plenty of times I wanted to work on mine, but I couldn't because of the -10 weather... I even tried spraypainting and then bringing the diorama inside, but then I stunk up the house. When it got a little warmer(15-20 degrees), I would open the garage door a little, spray, then wait awhile, and then bring the diprama into the basement... but it'd be a lot easier if I could just spray it and leave it, or heck, set up a table outside in back and do it there.  I know not everyone uses spraypaint, but I think with larget dioramas, it's easier and I can see more people using it to cover a larger area...

Just a suggestion... :D  SHould have mine finished for sure and sent in a couple of days.

Just about have mine done. It is not as involved as I had planned but it will have to do for the time I have available.
