I have been over there a few times already after you put us onto him in Christoph's Xwing mod thread.

Perhaps he could put his site address in his signature?

I would love to see more pics of his great AF customizations.

@Spudafett     Thanks man, I'll try to get some more pics up next week.

@Tamer    I think I got the signature hyperlink up. Let me know if it's working.

Cheers

Hey guys. Thought I'd toss another custom here to share. This is my Republic PR-8 "Parasite" Fighter. This was inspired by several (mostly German) designs from WW2 that featured small fighters attached to a large plane. They would launch while the large carrier was in flight. This particular Parasite attaches to the Republic Gunship via a small rack and launches from there, which actually works with the AF Gunship without any modifications to the Gunship itself.

Originally, I built this model circa 2005 with parts from the AMT AT-AT model, but I was never really satisfied. A few years ago, I decided to redo the whole thing with a canopy and more features. It currently has a slide-out canopy, rotating cannons, and a slide-out landing leg underneath. Most of the detail pieces came from tank kits. The canopy was stolen from an Fw 190 fighter. And the body is made of the same pieces I used in the old version (from the AT-AT model). I included an old image below of what it originally looked like.

More images and a backstory can be found here: http://www.rebelscale.com/models/star-wars/parasite-speeder/

Enjoy guys.

that is an awesome little fighter. I love the idea of it deploying from a gunship.

Thanks guys. Eventually I'll get some new stuff, but I'll probably end up posting some of the old stuff from my website first.

it's still nice to see the old stuff again, you might even get some ideas by going back through it!
