I just got done looking at Luke Sprywalker's new Mando custom and I'm just blown away. So I decide to start of on my own that I've wanted to start doing for awhile but did not have the time. I dont think it will be as good as his but I'm happy to start something new.
So far I've just done the basic spray paint with black as a base coat.

Hey buddy glad to see you trying out this paint style. How did the spray paint work/is it tacky? I use a brush for all my work on figures. Good luck and i can't wait to see this one come together!

I'd say the spray paint went perfectly. When I started I was worried that the base coat might be to thick but over all it went very well.
