I've started making Katern-armoured versions of my Republic Commando Sky squad. First up is RC-206(Scar). And the first step, was making the helmet:

Okay, almost finished Scar, I still need to do some touch ups here and there, give him a human head/replace the neck nub, hollow out the helmet, and then gloss varnish it. But here he is so far:

Great looking 501st troopers! Nice helmet mod and sculpting. What product do you use? If you spend some extra time on sanding you can really get a polished look. It makes your sculpt look better and blends it into the helmet you started with. I love seeing people try these helmet mods!

Got another one, I've modified the paint work on my vintage Fordo so he's more accurate to how he looked in his standard ARC gear(obviously now I have to track down another one to display as the alternate outfit) so here he is:

If I could make a suggestion, just do what I did, and get a spare clone, and use him for your alt outfit. All you need is some red paint:

I've made some modifications to my jet pack Rex, I've cut off his pistol holsters and replaced them with the older ones(like the ones that came on Waxer, Jek, Thire etc) so that he didn't look so bulky. I also weathered him.
