My kids and I were looking at your collecting and marveling today. I started doing some math and stopped because my jaw fell open.

That is an amazing collection!

I showed my kids this thread and they thought it was a store.  I told them it was one person's collection and they started to try and count the items on your shelf.  They gave up counting cause there was so much stuff!

Love that Millenium Falcon!

Math???  Ohhhh, I try not to do that.   It can be quite  alarming... and depressing.  Besides, my wife does not need to know about  those dollar amounts. ;D ;D

LOL! I say the same thing around my wife when asked the same question. She agrees!

I don't ever try to to the math on ANY collection!!  ;D  I figure we'd just spend it all on *some*thing, so why not on something fun that will be around for a long time rather than something consumable?

Right!

I mean, if  given the choice of owning a whole new wardrobe of winter clothes for use in our Northeast blizzards OR owning a fleet of Hasbro BAT-ATs  for use in those same blizzards... for me, that's a no-brainer!!!   I say, bring on the BAT-ATs!!

My wife teases me, that sometimes she'll enter the room where I'm sitting at the computer, and while some women catch their husbands looking at online porn or whatever, she always catches me looking at an AT-AT, or a Twin Pod Cloud Car,  or a Gamorrean Guard, etc...   ;D ;D ;D

That means you won't cheat on her and she should be happy ;) Not many people understand a hobby like this, especially women, but having a wife that does is a bless. :)

;D  Mine saves me styrofoam packaging material and empty plastic containers... but she does admit that she always knows where I am and that generally the $$ I spend on toys ends up benefiting not just me, but I share with the kids as well.  Brendan and I bounce ideas and aesthetics of customs off each other, Keke is turning into a bloody fine photographer, and Lonnie does a good job of cheerleading!  So not only am I *not* runnin' the streets the way some women's men do, I'm spending time with the kids, getting them involved in what I'm doing.  Surely that's worth a 48' box-van full of styrofoam and toys, right??   :o   8)

I've commented on your collection before over at RS, but let me repeat it here, I am planning to come there for a visit to see this in person, I dont know when yet, but I have informed the wife (which works out because she wants to see NY) so be prepared. Oh and I'm renting a truck so I can bring that awesome sandcrawler with me (and the Boba ;) )

Hey Spooky!!

I really look forward to your trip to NYC.  It would be great to possibly get together to do some hunting (at some of the local Toys R Us's   ;D),   and most definitely to hang out at my place geekin' out with the collection.

I'm so glad to hear you are renting a truck so that you can bring home the giant Sandcrawler that's here.

I just wanted to advise  you to make sure the truck is EXTRA, EXTRA large.  You see, not only is the Sandcrawler really large,  but you'll also need space for carrying the coffin.

You know... the coffin that will carry my dead body ... my dead body over which you'll be able to take the crawler... or custom BOBA!    ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

LOL. Let me know when you go to pick up the Sandcrawler, that would definitely make for some front page news.
