Post a custom that looks like you.
« on: February 20, 2011, 07:37:39 AM »
Here're a couple I did that look like me.  The first one is most recent.  It's Mandalore the Guardian.  It's Repeater's head on a Duke body.  You can see a goatee I painted.  I did the same thing with Mace Windu's head on a Rahm Kota body.

Dude, you look bad-@$$!  ;D  (I'm glad he's on *our* side!)

(What's Repeater?  A Joe fig?  From what set?)

Thank you.  Yea, he's a Joe fig.  I can't remember which set but it was a set that had some joes in desert camo.

Ok, I see him - scanned ebay and found three figs in desert camo from a TRU "5-pack exclusive."  Haven't found the complete set, unfortunately.

Finding a head that gets close to mine will be tricky.  For the body, I'll use Willrow Hood.....
;D

Hood's a more accurate fig for my body type.  If I'm going to make a custom of myself, I figure "it's fantasy anyway, why not go for the more fit body?"  But maybe I should.  Just imagine Hood with armor.

Yeah, that's what we call the Jango with the poncho and clip-on/slip-on armor pieces.  Why?  Because without the armor on, he is wearing the outfit as seen in Obi-Wan's visit to his apartment.  Ergo, "apartment Jango."

I have posted these guy's on my thread but here is a closer look!!

I had my likeness made some years back!!

A guy from another site  painted a few of them and I had the others painted by someone else on the same site!!

Pretty good stuff!! I can't paint in such small detail like these guy's can!!

Here they are:

I know it was some years ago but how much did it cost?  There was a site I came across once where they were a bit pricey.
