You will be assimilated! Haha thanks so much DO! Hadn't thought of the Borg but yeah! Haven't made a cast yet, but I guess I could. No idea what material to use though. Nothing paints as well as the vinyl that Hasbro uses. Is there a specific helmet you're interested in?

just wanted to comment again on how much i love those 3 mando's.that Tech mando is so wicked,i can't decide which is my fav though :-\ .can i love them all the same lol.  ;D

@JMT: Absolutely! It's really hard for me to pick a favorite too! That's why it's better to compartmentalize them. Each one is ready for a specific mission that will call upon their special talents. You never know thought, another one, yet to be made/finished might just be your favorite.

Fresh from TRU this afternoon where I snagged a marked down Y-wing and other loot, I grabbed a (still-on-the-pegs) Willrow Hood because I have been wanting to create a new custom. Ever since playing Star Wars Galaxies back in the day and sometimes seeing glitches that would spawn NPC stormtroopers that were overweight compared to their typically slim counter parts I've secretly hoped Hasbro would release one. Knowing that that will never happen, I've decided to create my own and use him as the new mascot for my blog. I present TK-711 for your amusement and enjoyment. (711 like the convenient store we have here in the states)

He comes with a bucket (helmet) of fried chicken, or dewback, or they could even be brownies. A snack is never far from reach for TK-711 and he never does anything on an empty stomach. He's a bit too ample to wear all the standard stormtrooper armor but that's hardly an issue as he's rarely on time for battle. The armor he does wear is usually strewn with crumbs and smeared with grease, chocolate, and all kinds of pastry fillings. He can be found taking advantage of the "free refills" policy in the death star cafeteria, or plodding along down corridors sneaking peanut M&Ms under his helmet. He's the Imperial Jek Porkins!

@Botwt: Thanks so much! He is repulsive, yet oddly captivating, like someone eating any large amount of food in one bite. I always felt Jek Porkins should have come with a bucket of KFC and a microwave when he was released as part of POTF2. You know that gives me an idea! Just need another Willrow Hood and a Jek Figure now haha.

@JMT: I'm truly flattered, and have been laughing on the inside about this guy since I saw his inspiration in the game. 711 just seemed like the perfect call numbers for this guy, as I imagine he's a huge customer there and probably has stock in the company. Got a bunch more ideas to execute so stay tuned!

@Spry: Thanks brother, he was created in about 3 hours from when I popped his bubble pack to when I photographed him.

Fat Trooper recipe:

1 Willrow Hood ("Ice cream maker guy" from Cloud City)
1 Modern Stormtrooper figure
2 Stormtrooper helmets (this is optional, but nothing says "I'm too hungry to shoot you" like a grease smeared bucket)
1 Stormtrooper belt (I used the disproportionate one from the 2005 ANH accessory set. cut the holster and replaced it with a modern one)
fodder bits for chicken/cake glued into helmet and some for munching
and of course black paint.

@Clonehead: You should see his bunk in the barracks. Nothing but Snickers wrappers, popcorn kernels, and fast food packages. He's actually on a donut run right now. Glad you like him!

@Wookie-Balls: Yeah he's like a big plate of barbecue ribs, delicious, but your hands, face, clothes, and napkins will be covered in BBQ sauce. :D
