Seriously awesome creations AFE! the combination of parts and the colour scheme make these some of the most original Mando customs I've seen. The weathering is perfect and I just love them!

It's funny that I couldn't help but notice the Kosher Dill Pickle jar in the background...it added a certain comedic quality to the proceedings!

@HB94: Thanks for the warm words! Nothing like your fellow creators to help you have more confidence in your own work I love love love doing mash-up customs and I'm always looking for new combos (let me know if you have any ideas!) and the Sandalorians just seemed like such a funny win-win when I thought of them. Glad the weathering came out well! It's a really easy method and it takes little time and produces a neat effect! Yep! Nothing fuels customs like a good pickle lol. Actually that's my boil-and-pop jar as the fam doesn't like the idea of me microwaving action figures in our coffee cups.

@JMT: Awesome! So glad he's up to your expectations! That's always something I work under when I create something for someone. "Will this really be what they wanted, or will it go above and beyond that?" I had a lot of fun making him for you and photographing him with his buddy Dust The Sandalorians seem to be a crowd pleaser and they're really a lot of fun to build and paint! I will get him packed up and ready for departure to your garrison When you're older like us, Christmas isn't as magical or important, so I'm really glad I can lend you some Christmas cheer and some new fodder to work with! I'd love a custom figure of yours! But no pressure! You do seem to have a way with Jedi, and you know I like alien Jedi the best. But whatever you come up with will be awesome! Can't wait to see what the fodder becomes! Adios

Alright after a trip to Endor (the redwood forests of California, where they filmed the Endor sequences, and to visit my family out there) I am back and have hit the work bench with a vengeance. Before I left I decided to expand the Sandalorian project and have now created 5 new Sandalorians, a sandalorian tank and a sandalorian Swoop. In addition I happened to see a post by RebelAce that he was looking for someone to do a Mirax Terrik for him, and being that she is one of my favorite EU characters I jumped on the project. It's a simple enough recipe, and I had some of the parts just laying about before I knew what they're work for. I added a few realistic embellishments but stuck pretty close to the comics. Her jacket has a real softgoods fleece collar, working holster with a hand built loop strap to hold it to her thigh, and scratch built helmet with affixed goggles! So here's my Mirax Terrik commission for RebelAce:
