Hey well I aim to please :) I'm really glad you are happy with her! I always really liked her so she deserved only the best! I'm going to have to do another one of these for my own shelves hehe. Maybe a booster too! Glad to have made your day! One of the most fun customs to make that I've done!

Let me know if anyone wants the recipe! It's not hard, just somewhat detail oriented and labor intensive.

AFE - that is one beautiful custom - seeing her compared to the comic books completes the presentation for me (my EU  knowledge is pretty poor!) she is a wonderful figure. I'd love to know the recipe if you don't mind?

Thanks,

Ray

Awesome work on Mirax! I too have her on my hit list and have planned out parts similar to yours. Obviously Agent Helix is a dead ringer for the head choice and I love the way you made her jacket! Very well done man!

@WBs: Thank you! Nothing like waking up, checking the yards and blushing haha. I felt it was necessary to give her a little context as that comic is probably the single best source for how she looks/dresses that I've seen. I really wanted her to feel as if she stepped out of the pages onto RebelAce's shelves.

@Spry: Thanks! Yes the agent Helix head was perfect for her! I used the same gloss effect on her hair as I did on my green haired cyborg girl. Mirax's hair looks really stringy and a bit wild and Helix's looks like it needs to be constantly brushed out of her eyes. How a spy can be any good with hair in her eyes is something only the Joes know lol. Ah the jacket, yeah I cut a piece of an old X-Men Movie Rogue trench coat for the fleece on the collar. That's the secret. Though it's hard to get it to go from green lint to white-ish fleece.

@Tamer: Thank you! Agent Helix is one of the best bodies the Joe lines can offer especially for custom makers! I love working with it. She can do Lady Fett to Mrax Terrik in seconds flat. That would be an awesome service if you did that Tamer. I myself need to buy more! Thanks for the front page! It's really all RebelAce though for the inspiration and the well as we say the "strive to excel".

Ok the recipe:

1Agent Helix body (for legs and crotch, wrists and hands, head, and neck)
1 Female Rebel Pilot Body (for arms and feet)
1 Hoth Leia Vest (sanded down to remove quilting+Softgoods for collar)
1 SOTE Comic Pack Leia (for upper torso and chest)
1 Han Solo Holster
1 DL-44 to fit holster
1 Rebel Commando Helmet (for hat)
2 slices of a mando jetpack nozzle for "head phone earflaps)
1 Rebel pilot helmet goggles for Mirax's goggles

Thanks Brother! What can I say she's one of my most favorite base bodies! I'm sure you can find tons of options for her throught the EU :)

Update: 5 more Sandalorians completed. I decided I really like creating a unique Star Wars army/tribe/clan. Reminds me of Warhammer/WH40K. Now I just need to get more parts for even more Sandalorians! Tomorrow I'm finishing my vehicle builds and painting them. Stay tuned!

Well so I made it through 7 new Sandalorian figures and 1 Sandalorian vehicle before I ran out of paint. I have 1 sandalorian vehicle to finish painting and one to finish building and then to paint. I also have yet another Sando figure planned which will bring the total to 9 complete Sandos. In the mean time while I wait for my browns and silvers to arrive from Amazon, I decided to go ahead with a figure I've been planning for a few weeks now. I got thinking about how much I love Mash-up figures--especially combining Mandalorians with other kinds of Star Wars characters. I was also thinking up ideas for contests, one of them being a Star Wars comic book character mash-up and that got me thinking. When it hit me it seemed so obvious and at the same time so epic. A Bat-Mandalorian! Batman+Mandalorian=Instant nerdgasm! Plus it's a particular combo I'm surprised I've never seen before!

I went for the classic Batman costume--the gray and black and yellow. The Batman I grew up with and always liked best. The recipe could be repeated with many different styles of Batman and I plan on doing some more. A Modern movie one, maybe a Batman Beyond, a Robin, a Joker, Riddler, and Two Face eventually.

This one comes complete with Bat-a-rang and grappling hook gun.

So I give to you the billionaire vigilante of Coruscant City:

Bru Zwayne AKA The Bat-Mandalorian!

Thanks Spectre! Actually The Sepctre was always one of my favorite DC comic book characters growing up as well... maybe I'll make a Spectre figure.

I see you took two of my most favorite things and combined them.  He has his work cut out for him though, I'm sure there is a lot of crime on Coruscant.
