I love what you can do without even having to paint your figs; your parts selections for your characters are well-thought out.

I think the one that jumps out the most is Brafe Bull'doon...the breather mask and cloak just seem to shout "I live on a desert planet in a sci-fi movie!"

Terrific job on all of these!

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

@Ghostskull: Thanks so much!

@Spry: Glad to know another post apocalyptic desert wasteland lover is out there. I can't explain it. It's just so classic Sci-fi. Wandering in the desert. Glad you like Kylar! He was a pretty neat character to create. I love his little jug of water. If you've ever been to the desert (I spent 6 days living in the Negev in Israel) then you know you have to stretch what little water you have.  Well I am a member of the Yards and we strive for the best so that has to trasnlate into photography too :)

@Botwt: Thanks brother! Sorry I've been MIA for a while, have had some things happen in my real life that I needed to deal with. Still running some damage control, but will be back up to speed come September.  Also plan on publishing the review you wrote too. So look for that on the blog!

@JediMerc: Haha that's part of the challenge that makes these customs fun, the question of "how can we create a cohesive looking character without having to permanently change anything?" I try to plan each custom carefully and make them work with the star wars universe. Glad you like Brafe, he's kind of a hard ass Sheriff of the wild west type. Kind of Lawrence of Arabia meets Dune.

Thanks everyone for the kind words! I'm working on some more customs so we'll see what turns up!

Thanks Clone10 and Sithtrooper! More coming soon!

I've got a whole crew of desert raiders and their pirate skiff in the works. Lead by Captain Morlunn Gahzeeda "Horn-Head" to his foes.

Great parts choice on these figures.  The are awesome!!  The color in the parts you used really compliment each other.  Would love to add you to our "Customs I Wish I Owned" section.  You are truly the NPKB King!!

@Art: So glad you liked them! Yeah I was imagining some of Spry's vehicles in the background... maybe some haulers an crawlers.

@Darth: I dunno about the King but I love NPKB! Feel free to add me to the Customs I wish I owned section. But the beauty of the NPKB is that anyone with the parts can build them :) I'm glad the colors worked out. I was a bit unsure on that part, but I knew they had to be very muted, neutral grays and beiges.

Neat! Great use of parts. Let's have some more, so I can drool behind my computer.

@Orangepeace: Thanks brother! Careful though, I hope you sprung for a drool proof keyboard! I had to get one when I joined the Yards! So much great stuff on here!

So my pirate crew is done an ready to comb the desert looking for settlements to raid and mini-rigs to hijack

And for some reason I've been obsessed with Jedi/Sith wielding pole arms. So here's Darth Wraithos with his staff of Rash'Tala. Darth Wraithos slew his former master and placed his severed hand atop the staff of Rash'Tala. The dark energies transmuted into the staff by the ancient Sith warlord Rash'Tal are enough to sustain the severed hand, bonding it to the staff. The hand obeys Wraithos' commands and can be used to grasp a light saber, blaster, or other weapons. Wraithos, raised a Mandalorian combines the deadly arts of the Sith and his former people to become a truly formidable opponent!

You guys are too kind! I love creating new saber weapons! Whoever started mirroring asian weapons in teh comics was a genius! I like the idea that the staff has the hand on the end. So if he needed to reach something far away but couldn't move to it, he could use the hand to grab it.
