Hey guys, im starting this thread of future customs i plan on doing and also to inspire others to do them  so that  i keep track of parts i need and so that everyone can give opinion and advice!

first on the list is the Clawship from the thrawn empire, seems quite easy of doing but expensive to achieve for it ill need to ep3 jedi starfighters  and a tie fighter or tie advance cockpit 
second on the list is Laatc dropship which basicly i need is a spare gunship, and a couple fo magnets,
third is the tie agresso which is basicly a tie advance cut behind with a cool turret pretty simple , finding the spare parts cheap is the hard part , if any one has any ideas to contribute ur welcome to share them, and also if u spot any of thse items cheap ur also welcome to share it here

I forget where I saw the webpage of the guy that custom built those ties, but I think he did the Chiss one or something like it. I love the idea of the drop ship too. I would love to see someone do one big enough for the ATTE. I would also love to see a more OT dropship for ATST's and Walkers ofcourse. I am kinda jaded that way though. Good idea for a thread though Alex.

u mean this tie , this is a for hard core customs ONLY, no way i can attempt this one before not having any other experience in customizing

Those are going to be some serious projects!  My best guess off the top would be to try to create with foam core and thin sheets of plastic, both should be available at a hobby or craft store.  Good luck with these, I'll be very interested to see your results!

problem its hard to get supplies here in greece , the store that is somehting like home depot in the states sells all kinds of tools but not the supplies ( like resin, molding stuff, or the acylic sheets etc.)  ill keep looking and keep u guys posted !

That last tie is a tie phantom.  It's spuosed to be a two seater recon fighter...

as far as materials find a hardwars store that sells sheet of styrene plastic.  Find several different thicknesses to use.  It holds together fantasticly with just supper glue and you can cut it with just a simple exacto knife.  The plastic itself is very durable, alot better than any of that foamcore posterboard or just plain posterboard or cardstock at wal-mart.  It's a little more expensive of course but it's worth it. 

If you want to go all out then you can build a vacu-form machine and use the styrene in it.  Basically that is the process costumers use to make storm trooper armor.

Devin, I don't have alot of experience with sheet styreen although I would like to get into it.
  You know that styrene display at the better hobby shops? The one with the sheets, angles, and nice creased and corrigated pieces? I would like to have one of those displays in my basement.

lol  the styrene is realy easy to use.  I've had one sheet 4' by 5' for months now and havn't run out though!  just used it on little stuff.
