It is my vehicle GS18, I am giving you the WIP pics now. Guys I am running the contest and just playing along but not looking to pull a hangarbay94 and win my own prize. haha Hey I just coined a new phrase. ;) Back on topic, the next few pics represent day 1 of my build. I spent about 2 hrs going through fodder bins, holding pieces up to the vehicle to figure things out. The first thing I did was grab 2 Heavy Duty GI Joe backpacks and picked out the 2 big front guns. I had to cut some pieces off to mount them on the backpacks as well as cut away the rivets that stick out. I cut the details off the back upper part that connects to the lid the super glued it together. It took a long time to figure out the parts to the front. I knew I wanted a center piece that stuck out a bit and looked cool. I lucked out as a box arrived from a community chest from another forum and the front center piece came from that box! I used a figure stand behind it to fill the gap then added the Blackout Transformer arms (that were removed from my mini rig custom) to give some detail where they connect to the gun placement.

I am a container/extra storage junkie, so I went with the mentos gun bins on each side. They are velcroed on and hold a ton of weapons. Then I had very small areas left so I used a few SW and Joe backpacks for some detail.

I wanted a simple propulsion system on the back, it was going to be removable but I was worried about it failing and plan to make a separate mini rig for that. The platform with fans is from the generic Target figures that hit clearance last year. The center detail on the back is part of a happy meal toy. There will be a gun mount back here soon.

The control center is a modified computer that I found a clearance, it had legs, a back screen and 2 side panels so it has been modded a bit.

I will get rid of the writing on the floor with strips of styrene from a for sale sign.

I picked out my trash today, lol.  I was messing around and hacking it up.. quick question, does anyone know about old electronics(not real old, but early 90s old).. is there anything in the circuit boards and all that stuff inside that's hazardous? I'd hate to be dremeling through something and later find out there's something that's known to give you cancer or something... just thought I'd ask... I'm taking pics along the way, but mainly just putting things on here and there and seeing what fits, so I'll wait till I get more before I post a slew of WIP pics.

Love what you did L.E. amazing what you can turn junk into huh?

Sure thing dioramas are welcomed! I used 3 dioramas for reference of what could be done in the contest announcement.

I was drawing up some 5 second sketches for a 4 mini dios/structures. An Imperial ready room, a rebel ready room, an imperial pill box/bunker, and an imperial bunker/pillbox. I know it's a large task to undertake and I only have 3 days to do it in. I think I can definitely do the ready rooms, we'll see about the bunkers. Maybe save them for next time.

Here is some of my trash I have put together, I am still looking for a few other shapes to make what I have in mind. The big trays are from Subway's Cookie platter I bought for $5 and ate already. Yum Yum. The bottoms are little juices that my son drank. So here is my WIP pic.
