Wow, I am humbled by all the kind words and being put on the Front Page was icing on the cake....

Never thought that would happen.
Like I said I have been viewing all the great customs here on the yards and have used all of you as inspiration to try and make some myself.

I am trying to work up a name and back story for him but that might take a bit.
I asked my son and jokingly he said Bob... he was saying it jest as he is 15 but,
Bob the Bothan Bounty Hunter has a bit of a ring though LOL.

I am just finishing up on a few droids that will go with him.
Hope to have pics up soon. Also working on  a couple of custom vehicles that will possibly all tie together to some degree...

Again I thank everyone for there kind words. They mean a lot to me and make me want to try more things

Greg

Here is the first figure I started working on, The Bothan ended up getting done first once I started rolling on it, and stuff I did on the Bothan helped me fix a slight issue I had with the Droid here...

Not a major custom really but he does feature rotating head and arms. Plus it is just the treadwell neck and head on the Security droids body.
So like I said not a major custom but....
Let me know what you think...

Was this a painted figure or a model you made?
...Jareth Sartoris never found out what ICO Austin had seen back there.

It is a hasbro figure.
Started out as the tradwell droid that comes with Aunt Beru and  the security Droid that comes with the Jawa.

Just popped it out of the its base and put it in the security droid base. then I made the arms and head toate independantly and then painted it....

I like how it tunred out....

Nice work, SBE!  (simple but effective)

I guess that defeated the entire purpose of using the acronym, now didn't it?   :P

Anyway, nice job on the droid!

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

Took a while for me to decide what color to paint his face and hands and when i mixed up the paint it ended up being very close to what it was, Oh well.

Let me know what you think
