In the deep of the outer rim territories is Taris a forgiven planet governed by Moff Dterio an old curmudgeon who was sent there to not cause problems mean while the empire rise, bored by the constant quarrels of the people of Taris ordered to build a Battle Arena to  exhibit public brutal combat competitions,and so distract people and shut them out

Well let's start with the girls

She 's not Bastila Shan acctually her name is Hayda Dreuf was a jedi padawan who survive the initial jedi purge was captured by Boba Fett in one of the moons of Iego but when she was transfered to Coruscant to receive training as emperor's hand, Moff Dterio  use their influence on the outer rim to bribe the officers and make they transfered to Taris beacause he says "that girl looks like Bastila Shan hmmm she will serve me, we have a recreation of the Battle of Malachor V next week and this girl has potential" how much for her. obviously  she has survived since that.

Gaga was the daugther of the king of Taris but after the empire came to Taris all her life goes down her parents were killed in public she and her brother were taken to the arena to demostred that the empire rules ,her brother protected her but he was killed by "Verdugo" another gladiator since that Gaga had to learn to fend for itself.

Kaleb is is one of the favorite gladiators of the arena not only he has many girls fans of Taris before that he was a smuggler , doesnt have much luck and end  slave of his own band and later sold to be a gladiator since then he show his real pottencial.

Rost was a Jedi general in the clone wars he fought in many battles alongside with Anakin,Obi-Wan, Adi Galia and Yoda but like all the Jedis who were in the outer rim territories in the intial purge he hide in Taris, bad idea he was captured and sentended to be executed in Coruscant but again Moff Dterio intervened and he was taken to the arena to be "Ven Zallow" in a recreation of the assault of Coruscant but this Jedi is full of surprises.
