The recipe for Bishop is as follows:

Head: Thorin Oakenshield
Body: Battle-Kata Roadblock, with a random casted pouch
Webgear: scratch-built from TCW clone Trooper bandoleers and wax string
Belt: kitbashed from a Saga Clone Trooper belt &  the sling from a Sandtrooper's large bore blaster
Holster: MU Maverick
Blaster: Red Faction Marauder Captain
Plasma Shotgun: MIB Agent J
Sidearm: Jungle Viper pistol
Power "charge-up" effects: Red sections from the TCW Sith three pack Darth Maul, unknown for the purple sections
Power "blast" effect: MU Iron Man (several)

The blue in his uniform is slightly darker than the source material, but I feel it works for a more "realistic" take on a comic character.  He feels like he could be displayed with either MU or Joe figs and fit in with each.

Hey, guys!  Happy belated New Years!  I'm back with a new line of customs.  This is a fantasy-based line, inspired by the "Forgotten Realms" line of books and gaming products.

First up is Gilgesh, a pale Orc Warrior equipped with the mighty warhammer "Skullcrusher".  This is an original character and is a full repaint of a TRU "True Heroes: Mythical Warriors" Orc 4 pack.  The warhammer is from a "Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog" bad guy.  The last pic in the series is a 'before" shot.  The rest are coming...

Here's another one:

This is Kurko, a raging Goblin equipped with "Bone Splitter" battle axe.  Again, this is a full repaint of the TRU "True Heroes: Mythical Warriors" Orc 4 pack.  Kurko is an original character for my "Forgotten Realms" line and was inspired by the goblin cards from Magic: The Gathering.

I haven't done a Joeverse fig in a while.  This is Scourge, Cobra's premier Scout Viper.  Trained to be one-man Black Ops units, Scout Troopers utilize super-advanced-tech HUDs in their helmets, which are tied directly into their plasma blasters.  They are also equipped with two plasma pistols in differing calibers and anti-sensor armor with full temp control capabilities.

Scourge is my first attempt to fuse a SW torso onto a pair of Joe legs.  He is a kitbash of several figs with assorted greeblies added.  The idea was to recreate a SW Scout Trooper in the Cobra forces.  The paint job is reminiscent of the classic Cobra Viper.

I have certainly enjoyed the Orc re-paints, they look fabulous. The Scout trooper, however, is really brilliant. Your paint job is wonderful, and I love the parts combination (never mind the concept, which is fantastic).

Thanks, guys.  Here we go once again into the Forgotten Realms, this time with my representation of an established character:

King Obould Many-Arrows, Orc Warlord - created by RA Salvatore and dangerous enemy to Drizzt the Drow Ranger.








This is a kitbash figure.  The body is a MU Planet Hulk figure, with the head from an Orc figure that was pictured several posts back.  The armor is from a "Mummies Alive" fig, with pauldron from the Planet Hulk and additional plating made from foam sheeting.  The massive broadsword is from a "Mystic Knights of Tir Na-nog" baddie, the bow, arrow and quiver are from a Grune the Destroyer fig form the new "Thundercats" line.  His greathelm is the head from some "Yu-Gi-Oh" demon figure and is simply swappable with his Orc head.  I dunno where the shield came from.  Various other greeblies were added and several metal chains were added for "flavor".  The bow has been strung and the (already) magnetic quiver can attach to a magnet hidden in the armor.  I need to get pics of him with my Drizzt fig so that you can see how massive he is.  Thanks for tuning in.
