Thanks, guys.  It IS an old GI Joe cycle w/ styrene tubing, a "bubble" from an action figure package for the vanes, a TCW zipline gun attachment and assorted syringe caps/tops.  I work in an animal clinic and end up w/ lots of discarded bits 'n' pieces from containers.  Also, sadly...the noggin does not fit inside the helmet.  I had to cheat a little & put on the original Pre Viszla head for the "bucket on" picks, and the Embo head post diameter had to be shrunk down with superglue to fit tight on the neck post.

Remarkable! Syringe caps you say? Well just so everyone knows, I am trying to get on that show horders for having way too much custom fodder crammed in my office and attic. Any chance you would send me some of those leftovers before they hit the trash? I can trade you some fodder bits, pay shipping, whatever. I need more random bits, ya know?

Sprywalker:  why hell yes!  I'd love to trade junk!  I will try to take some pics of the stuff available to me.  Items will vary depending on what we use in a given week, but I'm always picking up stuff.

One of my trio of Sith Lords finished for in time for the contest.  I had a hard time deciding which to submit...so here is the first of two I didn't.

Darth Feral, Wookie Sith Lord.  While Wookies are know the galaxy over for their remarkable strenght, courage and loyalty...few are Force-sensitive enough to become Jedi or Sith.  Darth Feral is the only Wookie on record as becoming a Sith Lord.  It's been said that a Wookie can/will "pull yer arms out of yer sockets", but Darth Feral is the only one who can do it with telekineses.  His rage is boundless, his ferocity unmatched and his focus is one thing and one thing only: destruction at all costs.  He wields twin ryyk kerarthorr blades composed of pure cortosis, rather than more traditional lightsabers.  He has killed more of his own apprentices than the whole of his order combined.

Darth Feral

Darth Feral is a POTF Chewbacca with handmade armor created from an action figure  "bubble".  The blades are from a Gundam Sandrock model, w/ the handle cut off and repositioned.  It was my first attempt at scratch building anything, and was mostly a test.  I like how he turned out, and if I get a more articulated modern Wookie warrior I may redo him.

Wow! That is the most awesome unarticulated Wookie I have ever seen! I love the armor you made and the paint job is bangin! Excelent work!

As for the parts, just save some up for me, take a photo of what you are sending and then I will do the same to make sure you like it.

Sprywalker: 10-4.  It may be a while, as my schedule @ work is wonky right now.

I musta done gone Mando crazy...I recently pounded out 3 in a week.  The first was Firiyo, Kyuzo Mando and here is the second.

Jhes Ihka, Mando anti-armor specialist.  Jhes was one of the Cuy'val Dar that trained RC's on Kamino.  Her speciality is the swift and utter destruction of vehicles from afar.  Her preferred weapon is a guass rifle.  It shoots a solid metal bullet magnetically charged.  The bullet itself has no explosive charge...the high speed it is propelled from the rifle is destructive enough to penetrate most any armor.  It also goes thru energy shields unhampered.  Karen Traviss mentions female Mandalorians several times in the RC books...and makes a point to mention it's often hard to distinguish male from female in full armor.  It made sense to do a female Mando in this style, as the "boob shaped" armor of, say, Rav Bralor seems weird.  I don't think female Mandos would care to draw attention to the fact that they are girls...just badasses.

Jhes Ihka

Bucket off!

Here are some (not very good) shots of her helmet clip on her belt, and the ring that hangs from her helmet to attach it to said belt.

Wow, what a great update. I can see you have been busy. I had to get that Sith Wookie on the front page.

I really like that Mando too. Now that is one dude that isn't going to run out of ammo!
