This is Grimlock, commander of the Mythosuar Squad.  Due to a traumatic head wound suffered as a child, Grimlock has an odd speech impediment.  He refers to himself in third person ("Me, Grimlock - badass", etc).  He lets his enemies think he is mentally slow, when in fact, he is very intelligent.  He just prizes strength over smarts.  An unstoppable force on the battlefield, Grimlock has never known defeat.  He wields a galaxial rocket launcher and energo sword.

Obviously, Grimlock is an homage to my favorite Transformers Dinobot Grimlock.  I am working on a full squad for him to lead, comprising of Mandos based on the rest of original Dinobots (Swoop, Snarl, Slag and Sludge), and maybe even a couple a' NEW! characters.  I've done Mando pairs before and squads of clone troopers, but this will be my first team of Mandos.

I love the Transformers crossover on this. Excellent backstory to go with an excellent custom. I am just getting back into the customs threads after three days of being out, but this one will make the fp soon.

Thanks for the support!  Here are more:

This pair of brothers are known professionally as The Brothers Grym.  Hoj "FatBoy" and Jir "Crusher" Grym retired from the Republic Civil Defence Force where they served with distinction as Commandos before the Clone Wars.  They travelled the galaxy, selling their services as mercenaries.  Just as they were about to lay their weapons down, the Clone Wars erupted.  Upon learning that the Republic was using a cloned army, the brothers entered into a lifelong contract with the CIS.  The brothers feel that the Republic's use of clones is unnatural, dishonorable and unethical.  They have vowed to sow as much havoc in the GAR as possible.

Here's a quick repaint of an POTF2 ASP droid.  He's called "Ol' Blue" and is seen in the backgrounds of some of my newer posts.  Just weathered him a lil' more and added the blue highlights, to differentiate him from my other ASP.  If I get a 3rd, I want to paint it like the gladiator ASP from TCW episode "Nomad Droids".

Went back to look at some of your earlier work.

 Raptor Minion

I have this droid head and have been trying to decide what to do with it. If I ever get a General Grevious body I am gonna make an attempt at this type of custom...with your permission.

I also like the anti-arcs. That is an awesome concept. I think it would be cool to see some CW stories centralized primarily on the CIS perspective. This would be too cool.

More Clones!  I started off just doing clones and Mandos...but I've started to branch out to Sith, Jedi and droids.  Those will come later.

Quick repaints with homemade pauldrons and kamas:

The "SnowPatrol" ARC squad.

I like this group too. Well done.

As always, thanks for the comments!  Here's a "mongrel" squad of RCs I did a while back.  "Mongrel" is a term Sev from Delta Squad used for a team comprised of survivors from other teams.  Omega Squad from Karen Traviss' RC series being the perfect example.

This is Dagger Squad: split two members from Blue Squad, two from Beast Squad.

Sorry doing a lot of catch up browsing these days.

Well done on this group. I like the color combinations.
