Here is an alien TCW style Mando w/ custom swoop.

Fariyo, Kyuzo Mandalorian.  Hailing from the same species as the bounty hunter Embo, Fariyo races into battle on a heavily modified swoop.  Unlike most speeder bikes or swoops, the rider lays prone on the vehicle, rather than sit upright.  This allows even greater speeds to be reached, with greater control.  The modifications Foryo made to this particular swoop are 1.  The replacement of the original repulsorlift with a unit from a hover truck.  This increases the lift-to-mass ratio.  2.  The addition of a heavy repeating plasma blaster between the front tines.  3.  A seeker-comm unit which allows the swoop to come to Fariyo when a beacon in his armor is activated.

Dude this is excellent.

Thanks for all the support!  Here is my final Sith Lord created in time for the contest, along w/ Darth Feral and Darth Xerxez.  I had a hard time deciding which one to submit.  I finally went w/ Xerxez since he had the accompanying Sith Shadowguard.

I present Darth Cthulhu.  Millenia ago, during the Hyperspace Wars a Sith Lord rose from the ranks to become the most powerful Force user known.  So great was his power, the elements themselves were his to control, as well as the minds of those around him.  "Wherever Cthulhu goes, madness follows" is a saying attributed to Jedi Master Alma Irereh, senior member of the Jedi Council of the time.  Indeed, Cthulhu radiated such power all those around him clamored for his attention...slowly going mad in the process.  Whole worlds fell to complete chaos and anarchy as the inhabitants went insane.  The Jedi and the Sith were left no choice but to band together to stop him.  Functionally immortal and able to heal from any wound sustained, the combined orders were forced to imprison him deep under the oceans of a quiet blue planet called "Urff" in the deepest reaches of the Outer Rims.  For thousands of years he slumbered in the underwater tomb called R'leh.  Slowly life appeared on Urff and they evolved into sentient beings.  Darth Cthulhu's calling seeped into their dreams.  Finally a group of priests dedicated to him found a way to unleash him.  He destroyed them in return, feasting on their souls.  The entire planet followed, as his strength returned.  Soon, he will return to the stars to continue his domination of the universe.  Even though he was freed from his imprisonment, he cannot remove the chains that bound him.  They will forever be attached to him.

Darth Chtulhu

Receipe:  Quarren Warrior head, torso, modified spear-into-lightsaber-handle & feet.  Jungle BAT from GI Joe legs, kama from a Kota's Elite fig, real chain, misc. elemental blasts.  He was supposed to have wings from a modern GI Joe Nemesis Immortal, but they got misplaced & now seen to be lost forever.

I really like this figure. As I looked at it again for the 2nd time, I really took more of it in. The back story is great also. Great job.

Thanks for all the support, guys (and gals?).  I've loved that backpack since back in the day.  I've got another one outfitted with the two claws from both sets...dunno what I'll do w/ that one yet.  Anywho...here's more!

Introducing the Gladiator Droid (FM-132) known as "Crush":

Created prior to the Clone Wars, the Gladiator Droid "Fighting Mech" series was introduced to much fanfare amongst those who enjoyed droid fighting.  The series was considered top of the line in the day, introducing several prototype cognitive programs that would find their way into other droid models.  The FM droids were prized as highly intelligent, vicious fighters.  FM-132 was the last of the line, and is currently the only known survivor.  When his master was slain during the Clone Wars, FM-132 (known as "Crush") set out on his own.  He traveled the starlanes, pitting himself in fights the galaxy over.

Crush is made from a "Titanium Man" from the Iron Man 2 line.  His hands were replaced with claws from a "Wreckage" Transformer from the 1st movie line.

This is my last post...sorry for all the entries. This guy is great. I like the droids you have developed and the combination of GI Joe, Star Wars Figures and other toy lines as well.

Thanks, Mungo!  I am a fan of yours too!

Here is an older fig taken on an older camera:

Skri Vuno, Iktochi Mando

The base fig is an older Saesee Tiin in trooper armor, with kama and wrist doo-hicky from an ARC commander, an ax from a Battle Beast and a custom blaster.

Here is the second member of the Mythosaur Squad, a team of Mandos based on the Dinobots from the G1 Transformers.  I'll be working on them one at a time, and will post a team pic once they are all done.  The head fin and wings are visual links to G1 Swoop.  His coloration is based on the toy, and not his animation model (which was mis-colored in his Diaclone colors).  I chose these colors to tie the rest of the team together, without having Swoop be the only one in blue.

Introducing Swoop!  While he is the smallest and least physically strong of the Mythosaur Squad, Grimlock considers him an invaluable member.  He is the team sniper, pilot and jettrooper, and is by far the most loyal to Grimlock.  Although most of the squad members are simple-minded (and Grimlock hides his intellegence), they are REALLY good at kicking ass.    While all the Mythosaur Squad loves to gather 'round the clan old-timers to hear war stories, it's always Swoop who proclaims "...good part!  Tell Swoop GOOD part!".

Thanks, er'ybody.  Snarl the stegosaurus is next, followed by Slag  the tricerotops and then Sludge the brontosaurus.  Slag and Sludge will be a while, I'm currently out of Mando bodies.

Future Fett!

Introducing Ra'Zhar Fett, great x10 grandson of Boba.  Several generations after ROTJ, Ra'Zhar Fett became of age and decieded he would follow in his famous ancestors footsteps.  Biomechanically bonded to his armor, they are one and the same.  Crafted from centuries old beskar, the suit houses enough weaponry to make Boba jealous.  Hidden panels shift away to reveal all manner of death-dealing apparati: sonics, flamers, cryo beams, micro-focus tractor beams, ion beams, mini-concussion missles, capture nets, plasma casters, melee blades, magnetic trackers are just the tip of the iceberg.  Miniature grav-negators on his back replace older jetpacks, and also act as personal shielding.

You 'member playing as a kid and you and your buddy would try to one-up each other?  "I shoot lasers from my hands".  "Oh, yeah, well I have a shield that blocks hand-lasers".  "Well, then I have rocket farts that disintigrate shields that block hand-lasers".  He's kinda like that...always has more and better weaponry than anyone else.

Ra'Zhar Fett

While it may seem simplistic, this paint job was one of my most involved: including mixing custom colors, wipes, washes and dry brushing.  The body is some Iron Man fig from the second movie, and the head is from a Jungle BAT from whatever the new GI Joe series is called.
