AND THE WINNER IS WOOKIE BALLS!  Yes, folks...the next entry in Darth Optimus' Crossover Mandos (tm) is Scorpion from the Mortal Kombat franchise!  Testing out the "GET OVER HERE" throwing blade with attached, removeable wire. He won't be a literal interpetation, but an artistic one. As my Dinobot inspired Mandos from a while back. I don't have access to any skulls in this scale, so I had to go with a skull-like head sculpt.  If anyone has 3.75" skulls, I am looking.  And he will have at least one other MK-inspired Mando to "FIGHT!".

And AFE: that would have been my next option, had I not had the extra kunai from an Embo.

AARRGGHH!!!  Remember when Charlie Brown thinks he's finally gonna get to kick that ball but Lucy just pulls it away?  That's how I feel.  Ah well.  Your custom looks cool, though!  Can't wait to see him and the others you have in mind finished.

Thanks to all who played "Guess Who".  After posting WIPs for the last several times, here is a pair of TOR-era SHARC Troopers!

Strategic Hazard Assault/Recon Commandos are the best of the best Republic troopers.  Grouped into 4-man squads, supported by various droid models and under the direct supervision of a Jedi Special Operations Officer, the SHARCs are a force to be reckoned with.  Afforded more leway than the average trooper, the SHARC squads get to personalize their armor as they see fit, and may employ any and all weaponry they see fit.  They are assigned the most dangerous, important missions...and failure is NOT an option.

These are TFU EVO Troopers (or Jumptroopers?) reimagined as TOR commandos.  Extra greeblies added, scuffed paintjob applied, weathering attempted.  The remaining 2 Commandos, the Jedi SpecOpsOff and droid support coming soon!


As a special bonus, here is a Happy Birfday to me pic.  I got to spend a few hours in my local nerdy-toys-and-stuff store and this is my haul:
