Thanks, guys! I caught "ninja fever" and several good trade partners loaded me up with ninjutsu paraphanelia. I have several more shinobi to debut, but first...something different!
First Sergeant's log: This is Duke reporting on a new batch of Cobra BAT variants. We are calling this type the BAT-p. It seems to be geared towards piloting any and all Cobra aircraft. According to recon intel from Scoop and Hit & Run, these are a limited edition variant that are still in prototype phase. Externally, they differ from the standard model in the following ways: they are kitted out in a "Cobra Blue" flight suit, have large shoulder armor, are equipped with a modified head (featuring an enhanced sensor suite and "piloty" design scheme. Their hands have been upgraded to entail finer motor control. Although they can still exchange their arms with the typical secondary BAT weaponry, they don't carry the usual armed backpack. Instead they are equipped with a short-range backpack. When their craft are shot out from underneath them, auxilary programming kicks in. They eject, rocket down and engage the enemy as battlefield assistance. For that, they come with a machine gun and the standard BAT sidearm. While the ninja variant (BAT-n) is a more radical design change and upgrade, these new units are going to be a real pain also. Mainframe and Breaker believe that they have been trained via downloaded memory algorithms from Cobra's ace pilot, Wild Weasel in the same manner the BAT-n units utilize VR training from Storm Shadow. See the attached photos for reference. End log entry.
