Thanks, guys!
Here are the final pics of the "Crow" fig I debuted as WIP a while back. "The Crow" is absolutely one of my favorite films of all time. Released in 1994 and directed by Alex Proyas, it is based on a graphic novel of the same title by James O'Barr. O'Barr's graphic novel (which he wrote and illustrated) came about after the unexpected death of his fiance. The comic and the movie both resonate deeply with me, even though I've never known such a loss. There were several follow-up movies, comics and novels (each portraying a different "Crow"). While the movies never were as good as the original (and that's putting it nicely), the comics and novels were surprisingly good. This figure represents the Eric Draven Crow we see in the first film, along with the mystical crow that assists him in his quest for revenge. I have several other (original) Crow-powered characters in the works. I know the pics are cruddy, (a combination of using an iPhone and playing with "lighting effects" but there you go. As an added bonus, you should totally open this link
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izUSpFYq5N8 in another window to listen to as you peruse the pics. It's "Burn" by the Cure, which stands as Eric's theme during his transformation into The Crow.

The recipe:
Hair: Rex "The Doctor" Lewis from GI Joe, ROC
Head: Blanx Alpha (I purposely chose not to paint in the eyes, hoping the darkened areas would play as shadows, leaving a more "haunted" look...I may reconsider)
Torso: Dollar General Duke
Arms: Rex "The Doctor" Lewis from GI Joe, ROC
Hands: Blanx Alpha
Upper legs: Rex "The Doctor" Lewis from GI Joe, ROC
Lower legs: Dollar General Duke
Trenchcoat: MU Nick Fury (IM2 4-pack exclusive)
Crow: Redwing from MU Falcon
Flight stand: clear post heated and shaped, plugs into Eric's back
Weapons: assorted from The Bin
I had wanted to enter this into the "Ultimate Build-off" challenge, but then I realized I'd disqualified myself for showing WIP pics a while back. Anyhow, hope you enjoy. Thanks for tuning in!
