Hi Folks.  Here's another addition to my The Old Republic line of figures.  No big back story, yet.

Erushazn Nurox or Shaz was a Jedi Knight from about the time of the Cold War.

Looks good. The bare arms are a nice touch. You ever try any black wipes on your figures? Dirtying this guy up a bit would make the details really pop.

It's kind of like a wash, but you wipe the excess paint off with your fingers, leaving it only in the recessed areas. Try it out on some fodder and see how you like it. Use a small brush and do small areas at a time. It's fairly easy once you have the hang of it.

Here is the tutorial I learned the technique from:

His other tutorials are worth a read also:

Thanks.  Ya, I'm really liking TOR stuff.  I'm not a gamer but it's definitely a great source for ideas.  I'm working on some major TOR ideas.  I have some WIPs a couple pages back.  Maybe i'll have them done by summer.

Nice color choices; the bare arms gives him a more primitive kind of 'feel'.  The outlining you did on the armor make the colors (and armor) 'pop' just a bit more.

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

Thank you.  I've been on the look out for that primitive look.
