Get off your DS and get into the garden!!!

Well it's finally happened! it's a lovely warm English Summers evening and what were my kids doing? sitting infront of the TV with their DS's in their hands.... "Right!" I thought, "that's it, when i was a kid I remember playing for hours in the garden, and what I wouldn't have given for the stack of Star Wars customs, vehicles and bases I have now created....

So now our garden is Star Wars heaven, and my kids have been playing together and using their imagination for at least a couple of hours, I must admit there was an element of "letting go of my feelings", as I am very protective of my customs, especially the Photonovel ones, but what the hey, they are all toys after all and they were born to play with...(and what and I doing? sitting in front of a PC posting this...Right, I'm off to play Star Wars (Yay!)



Who else here is outside playing Star Wars? if so let's see some of your outdoor action!!!

This is awesome! I also love the Rhododendron that is in bloom. Jaxon and I mostly play with GI Joes outside, we need to broaden our horizon I guess!

I love being outside "playing" with my star wars toys.  That's where I take a lot of my photos actually.  Now I have to get off my lazy rear end and get outside...thanks.

Ok, so the kids are tucked into bed and I have had a chance to set up the figures properly.

So tonight a dignitary is visiting the Imperial platform and a sniper keeps watch, while close by a Pirate base stirs...It is a beautiful and silent evening on the distant forest moon on Endor!







(sorry there is nothing new to show everyone, but I'm working hard on the X-Wing movie)...

me too, that thing is sick!

I'd like to see a scene with the Falcon sitting on it, like after the battle and the rebels have won and Lando parks the Falcon on the landing platform with a few other rebel ships and maybe some Imperial prisoners being escorted by entor troops and so on

Magical!  I remember taking my figures outside for the occasional photoshoot as a kid. Nothing as spectacular as this mind you, but you've captured that wonderful feeling in your photos.

wow those are some sweet outdoor shots wish i could go outside with some toys but its in the triple digits where i am and i fear they might melt that would not be good 8)
