Topic: New Republic Navy Rank Device Chart

As a follow-up to the Imperial Navy Rank Device Chart, I have started to create the one for the New Republic Navy. The inconsistencies for the NR devices are far worse than the ones for the Empire. As a result of this, I decided to start with a blank sheet of paper and just design every device from scratch while still giving them an "in-universe" style and look.

Up first are the devices for the Officer Grades, from top to bottom, left to right they are as follows:

O-1 Enisign, O-2 Lieutenant Junior Grade (JG), O-3 Lieutenant

O-4 Lieutenant Commander, O-5 Commander

O-6 Captain

O-7 Vice Admiral (Lower Half)

O-8 Vice Admiral

O-9 Admiral

O-10 High Admiral

I am also doing Enlisted Grade Rank Devices and I can assure you, that unlike the Imperial Enlisted devices, the will not just be re-colored versions of the Officer Devices. The NR is a little more creative than that LOL.

After a lot of trial and error, I think I finally hit on a New Republic Rank Device design that makes sense, still has the "in universe" feel and style and is very different from the ones that I designed for the New Republic Navy Officers and the Imperial Navy.

They are, from left to right, top to bottom:

E-1 Ablesman Recruit, E-2 Ablesman Apprentice, E-3 Ablesman

E-4 Petty Officer 3rd Class, E-5 Petty Officer 2nd Class

E-6 Petty Officer 1st Class

E-7 Chief Petty Officer

E-8 Senior Chief Petty Officer

E-9 Master Chief Petty Officer

E-10 High Chief Petty Officer
