So my last order from mighty TungHori was held by the German customs for 3 days. My previous order was worth $150 and they didn't charge me import fees. This time I have to pay 1.23€ taxes plus 6€ handling fee, which is absolutely fine to me, but makes no sense since this order is only worth $101.
But that's not enough with the oddity here: The delivery man came to my door yesterday, but he couldn't make his device accept the payment, so he had to take my parcel to a local post office. So I have to pick it up there myself today in order to pay the custom fees. At least he chose the closest office, which is a minute by bike away and not 15 minutes.

I'll get ready to finally get my stuff and will be back later to share with you what I find inside!

My Last One from TungHori

TungHori finally sent me the Razor Crest Mando. No word about the Klatooinian Raider anymore. Whatever.
The last batch for me arrived in good condition. These are good for probably being factory rejects. If they are, I'm sure they would be destroyed instread if TungHori didn't get hold on them.

It was a great time since 2006 and I probably got 30% of my collection from mighty TungHori.

It's amazing how much of a difference the paint apps make on a headsculpt. Fennec Shand is an absolutely stunning figure! The inferior lips on the right sample were not painted, eyes are okay on both, but still they look so dofferent from each other! Also depends on the camera angle of course. I'll have to check how carded units look in comparison. Also her drink accessory looks odd - one is clear and one is foggy - maybe some material issue or even a recast to complete some figures? Who knows...

Mando's incomplete though - Jetpack is missing...

I will always love this new ARC Trooper figure - they can repaint the crackers out of this one - I'll never stop buying more ARC Troopers!

Thanks for the update. Its unfortunate that a source for figures you have used well and has been reliable, is no longer a viable option. But, better to not have the headache and frustration. At least this last shipment was pretty good.

Thanks for commenting guys! I was able to take a look at TVC Fennec Shand at retail earlier than expected! I went to Müller on Tuesday and they had one! You find my store report of this drug store here.


This figure did pass quality control and looked worse to me than the ones which TungHori sent me.

I mean, I am now on the fourth new door waiting to be installed in my house as they have all come damaged from the shipper. I am not kidding!

This version of the Clone Trooper is too tall and too skinny for my taste compared to the large bucket. But Clone Troopers look always good all weathered up like this one, which I found on ebay:

Wow...in spite of everything you are sure keeping up on Tunghori's stock. I like the Umbra paint job. I wonder how his samples stack up to retail. I got mine from Entertainment Earth, and his paint job is really sharp.

Yeah, I mean only because I don't buy from him anymore doesn't mean that other collectors and customizers wouldn't as well, right? TungHori used to be an army store for armies that you could actually afford. These were the days when I was new to the internet and couldn't believe that it was actually possible to get 5 of my favorite Clone Troopers (the BF II Clone Jet Trooper) as low as $9.66 on ebay plus $5 shipping. Those were the days of 2006 when a legendary power seller and essential supplier was born. I'm still thankful to mighty TungHori because I porbably got half of my collection from him...haha.

The latest ARC Troopers are missing at least one accessory though. Other than that, I'm sure that you got good chances to receive a good sample.

Speaking of samples, there are 104 Million Euros in the pot tomorrow - do you think I should dare the odds and play the lottery?
