I can understand the crew not giving up their technology, but I do see one of the old packaging pieces on the end from the old Cinema Scenes. Yea, I have a few of them still, haha ;)

Yup!  Came out of the Mos Espa Showdown set, actually.  I stuck it onto the end of the battery blister, then molded it.

Yep, I like that blister part. Nice mod on that one, Doc. I was wondering if you could favor us with a tutorial on how you make your two-piece molds, one of these days?

I sure will!  In fact, I just came in from the shop and will have a good pic of what to NOT do as an illustration, as well!   ::)  ;D

I have some more 2-piece molds I plan to make, especially seeing how well this one is doing, so I will be careful to take plenty of step-by-step photos for it.

I just found out I have a new paper-model set named after me!

I know I have extolled the virtues of certain designers here before.  I also have mentioned/cajoled/begged some of them to create action-figure-scaled sets.  One has responded.  He is putting the finishing touches on a very nice battlefield set and I will be debuting and reviewing the set here as soon as it is released.  It is simple, multi-level, and modular.  IMO, Glenn's material is on par with Jules' awesome work, just to give you a metric by which to gauge.

I was flored, I tell you.  This guy is a great guy to talk to about paper-models and sci-fi stuff and turns out some awesome work.  The fact that he was willing to go out on a limb for me and make a set scaled where *I* need it rather than his normal wargame-scale is phenomenal.  Naturally, I'm going to beg all the action-figure guys and gals to buy his set to show our lurv!

Also, I have had my resume requested by one company and found out a second company - with which I have worked before, inspecting their crews for the gas company - is looking for resumes to hire in the near-future for a job back down in south TX doing work for the same gas company I was inspecting for.  So hopefully that means I'll end up going back to work in the very near future!!

Also, you recall Psyclone mentioning he was getting tables cast and molded for his cantina.  Well, that task is accomplished and his tables and IG-88 heads shipped out earlier this week.  I'm going to do a photo-shoot on the tables and will start taking orders for them.  Watch for that thread in the Parts Bin section in the near future!

Work continues apace on my fan-fic competition entry.  Fortunately, that is almost complete - just in time for participating in the Clone Wars Competition!

After that, I will be working on several new molds of items diorama-nuts like me will absolutely love.  In the process, I will be shooting a tutorial on how I make two-part molds - either video or stills, I haven't decided.

So, I have my projects lined up, for sure.

We'll see - I shot some pics earlier today to see how it looks.  I might post it, if it all looks ok.  I will say it is *close* to being finished, so at this point a WIP might be a moot point.  ;D

Can't wait to see that battlefiedl set Doc as well as your casted items. Tell that guy who created the set to show up here so he can read the comments we make about the Set. If its even close to Jules' quality we are all sure to love it and perhaps buy it if he has the capability to make more. We could even plug his store a time or two.

Stupidity should be painful... if that is true, I was royally stupid last night.  I captured a young cat who did NOT want to be taken.  I did this with no gloves, because I knew he was skittish, NOT that he was SAVAGE!!  My right hand is now covered in puncture marks from his teeth, inc. one in my index-finger knuckle that now makes bending problematic.  I've lost my trigger finger!  AIGH!!  He also dented my thumb-nail in one place and scratched the snott outta both hands.  So, with projects literally lined up and covering my workbench, I'm looking at being forced into a hopefully short hiatus.

Grrrrr.....

Uhh, cat saliva has a toxic amount of bacteria that our skin can't handle, doc. If the bites are real bad, you need to get them looked at.

Yeah, I'm keeping an eye - closely - on it.  Localized swelling only at this point, so I'm thinking I'm ok for now.
