So I was terminated on the 16th. I decided, hey, this is a great time to get serious about my writing and my casting, push them both and really make a go of it. Started that - got a new door prototyped (need to revisit it, as the casts are warped and I think it is an issue with the master-part, not the mold), got two gaming products written. As part of my unemployment qualification, I had to do three job-searches last week. So I did, one was an "I hope I get permission to add an HSE guy," one was an "I'm waiting to hear that I got the contract and *then* I'll need you," and the other was dad saying, "Here's the info for the folks I'm working for." Sent them out by email Friday evening late. Yesterday afternoon, the company dad works for called me. "Are you interested in being in Ohio on Monday morning?" Well, no, not really, but the bills say YES. "Absolutely."
So, now, I have to be in Ohio for a 4 or 5 month project starting Monday morning. I know nothing at all about that area - the OH/KY border - I'm not completely moved back from the last job, and well ... I had a lot of other stuff I really wanted to be doing. But I'm going to take all my casting supplies I possibly can fit in, and should be able to piddle along.
