Well guess its no use to get started again is it? Poor Chad is gonna have a heck of a time on the next CAFN cast with us whining about Hasbro!

I am holding off the majority of my whines until after the presentations, but I do have a couple of "WTF!?" in relation to GI Joe already.  But I will hold it back at the moment.

Updates Mon-Fri every week, also reviews and much much more.

LOL, I am agreeing with you. I think we got more of a nugget in a EP I new tooled Naboo Starfighter from our last Q and A session with Hasbro. I didn't see any mention made of it in the preliminary digging from the Hasbro presentation either. And no slide for the new fett proto mail away either?

Doc. You do have a good point, we are getting some good ones. Perhaps we all need to start seeing the glass as half full rather than half empty.

I was hoping to see the new Vintage vehicle offering, but I am guessing October now. We fans are always going to want more info. than they are going to give us.

That being said, I just found out Arnie videod the entire presentation live. Check out the front page.

Folks, after much work, I am proud to not only give you the new Hasbro Presentation for SDCC, but a small glimpse into a larger world we are now calling the Imperial Galleries. All of the credit for this goes to Hangarbay94 (Jules) whose relentless determination saw my never again having to make a thumbnail page and everything that is associated with. For those who know coding by hand, an image gallery is a huge undertaking and Jules has helped us create a system that all of us will be able to use in the future.

Now to unveil this fully armed and operational battle Gallery!

Well I was kind of whineing earlier, but there is some promise in all this, I hope Maul is new and not a repack, I have plans for Savage Oppress (even though I hate his name).  and love that we finally get Ben Quad.

So no BIG vehicle?  I was expecting something.  I mean all the talk over the past year and nothing, I am surprized.

Updates Mon-Fri every week, also reviews and much much more.

You know we are gonna see a new vintage vehicle in time for the xmas season. It is looking to me like they are going to more of a spaced out format and it seems new york in October and February and then SDCC in July are now the three times of year we get new previews. I love the look of the new TESB items coming out. I can't wait to get my hands on that new Taun Taun. And it looks like I don't have long to wait. Now, how to get my hands on that Target Nine Pack again.

And by the way folks, leave us some comments about the new Gallery System we just unveiled here please. I will make a more formal thread for it later, but we unveiled this early just for you fine folks.

sorry guys maybe its just me but i was expecting Hasbro to pull something outta the hat, yes  Vintage got a fair bit of love ,but what about TCW? yes the assassin droid looks cool but the clones ...urgh stone mold ...
wheres Sugi ,NightSisters,Trando's,Mother Talzin (she's in the bloody parking lot! WTF!  )the mortis trilogy figures? ...come on guys! your at the worlds biggest comic con ,there are huge problems with distribution ,we need some cheer!
the mando gunship(its not a gunship its a bloody shuttle) ....why for the love of pete! i'd have rather had Sugi's ship anyday.

the dvd 2 packs   2 new clones yaaay!(who are already available from ebay) and two more repacks..boooo!

the ultimate gift pack?.......are you having a laugh hasbro?    you give us a dooku with knee articulation (finally! )and a soft goods  cape  yaaay! ....and 4 more repacks ..boooo!

and as for the Class 1 vessels ...wheres the republic attack shuttle (minirig)? and everything show is out in the wild...somewhere
at least 85-95% of what was shown  is either on sale or known (in detail)

yes maybe it is just me ....but at the end of  the presentation   i was thinking ...is that it? ,did i miss an announcement?
to me as a TCW collector this was a major damp squib ,TVC got some love ,but thats about it .......

sorry if this isnt the "oooh wonderful Hasbro" kinda post but at the time when collecting seems to have reached its lowest ebb  ,we could have really done with a super duper unveil  and tbh it just didnt happen.

p.s.  R7-D4  B.A.D.  sculpt    WTF!!!!!  why???

The only surprise, and a pleasant one, was the Vintage carded Quinlan Vos.  A long time favorite or mine, I'll actually look forward to that one.  Otherwise, the Hasbro presentation was exactly what I was anticipating: A complete waste of time.

Well the way I see it, that just leaves me and my money to tackle GG and Sideshow which have definitely picked up Hasbro's slack although I was glad to hear Hasbro say they are going to re-release the harder to find figures so that is good news for all of us.  I know one thing, it is gonna be interesting to see them try and keep the next big vehicle quiet until October. I bet it won't make August till we know!
