Speaking of ridiculousness...

Did anyone else attempt to purchase any of the Comic Con Exclusives at HasbroToyShop today?  Wow!  What a madhouse.  I had no interest in the Revenge set of figures; but I wanted the Lost Indiana Jones wave.  I also had a hankering for one of the GI JOE figures.  Over the course of an HOUR AND A HALF, I was finally able to get my order to go through without timing out at various stages.  During this excruciating process, the GI Joe figure I HAD in my "shopping cart" became "unavailable--out of stock".  At least I was finally able to secure my Indy figures.

Hopefully they don't look too closely at my internet use at work today--oh well, I'll make it up to them.  In the end, I guess it's what I had to do to get them--I see they are sold out now.

Same story here, Zarana (pink) and Indy were what I tried to get for 2 hours and I finally gave up, it was worse than last year.

Hasbro is so far out of touch with reality, and their site is barely capable of handling normal orders at any given time, so why they thought the SDCC exclusives would be obtainable is beyond me.  I'm still pissed that they'll no longer be offering single carded Marvel figures; you'll have to order cases.  Makes absolutely no sense.

Agreed on the MU BS, that probably will keep me away from HTS cause that is the only reason I went to HTS.

I was on the fence about getting a revenge set, but can see with my dial up speed, and the speed on the HTS Site that my choice has been made for me. What a joke.

I just got an email in from David from EBF about his inteview with Derryl so I am gonna go link that on the fp.

So we are gonna get more issues with new cases. Just great.

Chad just made me aware of a clearer youtube video of the Marvel Panel. I am seeing if we are going to get high rez pics of the Hasbro Panel, but that video (now on the fp btw) is pretty good considering.

This is one of those things that very few people notice, I tried 4th edition and it seriously caused me to put down RPG's since, and I LOOOOVED RPG's at one time.

You know, in all honesty, I cannot imagine how you could ruin Nerf on any level.  I mean it's Nerf the wonder material LOL.  Almost anything Nerf is kind of cool.
