Hey folks! Thanks for the kind feedback re the latest Luke and Jammer!!

That SOTE Impy Luke is probably the most extensive paint job that I've pulled off yet and I was pleasantly chuffed with how he turned out :D

I can't wait to see some more SOTE customs from you guys - in the meantime here's a snap of my three figures so far...

YES! THOSE ARE AWESOME! Great work on the figures and the Imperial Luke paint work is the best! Great choice in working up some figures from SOTE!

Wow, loving the SOTE customs. That is still one of my favorite SW novels. I would love to see someone actually turn that into a film, anime or what not.

@ Shawn - good to see you back buddy! I've been busy over the last few weeks! Got Leebo and my realistic Phase One ARC on the bench at the moment
- I too would love to see an animated SOTE movie!!!!

@ Mungo - I'm not as versed in the EU as you my friend, but I'm stoked that you like my ongoing SOTE project!!

Looking forward to Leebo!  I can see in the comic-pic that an HK-47/50 head, BG-J38 torso, and protocol droid arms would be where *I* would start.  Can't wait to see how YOU handle it.

Great minds...and all that!

I'm going with a modded HK50 head and limbs, BG-J38 body, Indy satchel, chewie pouch and some tools! Though about using 21b type legs, but I want my Leebo to look like he could keep up with Dash!

Prob is I can't find my bloody BG-J38 torso!!  >:(  may have to order one from somewhere...

Yeah, those BG torsos are bloody SCARCE!  I *might* have gotten two.  As an alternate, look at an old EV-9D9 or an 8D8 torture droid.  Wish I'd thought about it - I just spent the last hour+ rummaging around in Deep Storage Facility One, where my loose POTF/2/J figs are stored.  Note to self, remember to dig them out next time!

Which 2-1B legs - ESB or RotS?  Sounds like you are on the right track with Leebo.  Can't wait to see how it turns out.  (and now you've got me thinking...)

Couldn't find EV-9D9, but I was on the phone and distracted.  I *did* locate the 8D8, tho.  I need to go dig my BAD BG torso out of the shop so I can do a side-by-side comparison.  Also pulled out a 2-1B, ESB-style.  Forgot that one has a different style of attaching the legs.  Well, what's kife without a challenge, eh?

Hey man.  I just wanted to hear how that ARC is coming and I can't wait for the final group shot.  It seems so long ago I saw you first one.  How time moves and old ideas and ventures can make you happy or guilty depending on if you finished it or not.  My teacher says I'm pretty good at righting and my thoughts.  Guess she's right! ;D

Hey buddy...

The ARC is ready to be painted (the Galactic Marine lower legs have been fitted) Also my Clone Scout Sniper is ready for paint too. However this weekend I'm GMing a session of our Aliens RPG (my players come from across the UK to play) so it'll be Monday before I get to do any painting!

Once Clint's parts arrive I can crack on with numerous other customs too!!

@Doc I've managed to order a BG torso, so I have to wait until it arrived from the US now mate! Thinking that I might just go with the HK legs on my version of Leebo now!!

@Yak thanks that's really kind of you to say, each new paintjob I do is a learning curve for me!

that SOTE royal guard luke is epic on levels I can't express.  I love it.  It captures the look perfectly.

Hasbro should really bring back a line that is dedicated to the EU book series, much like what they did back in the day with the POTF SOTE line of figures and toys. 

I've been pondering on doing a guri custom myself... I might get around to doing that eventually...
