Spot on both of you!  ;D

The movie bots were called "Bob" & "Vincent" (I think both were acronyms!) as a kid I had the Vincent figure - they go for silly money on EvilBay now. I decided to make my own 'inspired by' version!!

This little fella is made out of a M.A.S.K T-Bob, putty, a 1/144 F15 Eagle and a 1/72 Scimitar light tank (!) I still need to work on the paint job and find some black ball-thingies to add as his 'feet' and a Games Workshop flying stand...

Now I've rediscovered him, I think I'll finish him off!

WB out!!

Had a gander through my bits box and came up with this little monstrosity in progress lol

Anyone recognise the influence? Might just finish him off for a giggle...

WB out!!
That is awesome! :)

Man, that brings back the memories.  I always liked that film and the droids especially.  George should have bought up the right to the film and put those droids into the Star Wars universe.  Maximilian would make a great henchman for Vader...

Everyone beat me to it. The Black Hole.  I am surprised that movie hasn't been remade yet.

Excellent custom. It makes me want to see that movie again.

If I remember correctly, one was an older model that had seen better days?

The director of Tron Legacy, Joseph Kosinski, is actually lined up to remake The Black Hole this year.  If you watch the opening scene of Tron Legacy, Sam has a poster for the movie on his wall!

Yep B.O.B was the battered older model!

Also in Tron Legacy Sam has a couple of Black Hole figures on his shelves too including V.I.N.CENT!

Thanks for the all kind words and interest  guys - I'll be sure to finish this little guy when I get back from my work trip to Paris!

All the best,

Ray
