Thanks guys :)

Each of the Aliens Marines will be eventually painted up in a camo close to that of the film. The adapted Marauder vests will be painted to look like armour and have a slightly different camo scheme (as per the film) The mando leg armour and Rex shoulder pads from Clint will be painted in a similar manner.

I'll be making the shoulder lights by adapting Scorch backpack nozzles, and the helmet camera is a cut down CW Rex pistol. The Marauder Pulse Rifles will be painted in movie colours and I'll be adding a RC backpack to the Demo trooper.

The Smartgunner will have a General Veers vest painted black, the above mentioned Mando leg armour and a custom made headset/camera. I'll be keeping the Marine style 'Cover' as it fits with my tough-as-old-boots RPG character. The Iron Grenadier smart gun is fantastic - here's a pic if you've never seen it before...

In the second pic you can see the leg armour, shoulder pad, ammo cans and belt on the IG that I plan to transfer to 'Hammer' my mini gun toting clone :D

More updates to follow...

I have been keeping my eye out for the Grenadier fig: I love the armor---the massive pauldron is swweeeet!---and gear and would love to put it to use on my own figs!

This guy look like he's gonna be awesome...can't wait to see the finished version!

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

Ah Mexico, land of some of the hottest women on the planet! :D

Yep aware that the correct name is Colonial Marines or USCMC - but some folk aren't as geeky as us!! Also the figure with the smartgun above is the actual GI Joe Iron Grenadier as a stock figure! He is a beaut tho and I almost feel guilty about cannabilising him for parts! May have to keep that awesome head for a custom bounty hunter at some point...

Not the best of pics but here's a parts test for my Marine Smartgunner 'Mack'

I'll actually be using one of Clint's resin versions with the bottom part cut off and painted black. The figure (including hat will be painted up in camo) I'll be adding a headset, head cam and eye piece. Converted mando leg armour and a back pack will also be added to finish him off...

hhaaha thanks a lot man and dont worry about the canabilising of figures yeah you can feel guilty but if you see the brigth side  :-[ :-[  even I recently  decapited a ROTS clone commander to make an a ARC Trooper "Berserker" anyway at the end the only thing that matters is make the custom and have the satisfaction of accomplishment  ;D ;D ;D ;D
