Hey y'all!

It's been a while since I got a chance to post some customs, but here's two versions of my favourite OT character Luke...



This one is just a simple head swap and saber addition. I loved the body sculpt of the new Bespin Battle Pack Luke. I loved the almost vintage throwback lack of articulation - I just couldn't get on with the head sculpt!

However the 2nd TVC Bespin Luke has a great sculpt (but awful legs and hips!) so here's my combination of the two (with added deactivated saber) to add to my Luke-Line Up!!

Ok folks here's my second Bespin style Luke of the day!

This build was influenced by ScopioAttack's build on Yakface.



The Bespin outfit has become my favourite OT costume as the years have progressed, especially since the PT and the bazillions of Jedi outfits contained within them!

I wanted to replace the comic book pack alt Bespin Luke (the one with bare arms) with something better looking and here's what I came up with!!

The head is from the Luke Jedi master figure. Upper arms and flight harness are from a B-Wing pilot. Lower arms are from and Indy figure and the torso and pelvis are from a Dagobah training Luke. The legs and belt are from the first TVC Bespin Luke (a great figure) and the jacket is from a POTJ Bespin Capture Han!!



I love how this figure turned out!! I think he is my favourite modern SW custom yet! Thanks to SA for the build idea!!

I'm with you!  The "Pilot Fatigues" outfit is the one I fell in love with the instant it first came onscreen.  I hate the lack of articulation on the newest iteration, but that's because I have very particular designs for this sculpt.  As, say, a background filler, it *is* an outstanding sculpt.  I am still ambivalent about dropping the $$ on this pack, but - a good background pilot and a Mando...  Who knows, maybe I can even figure out a customs-use for that Vader!

As soon as I read the title of your thread update, I was salivating!  I also love the fatigues look; your new open-jacket fatigues is one of the best alternate Luke figs I've seen in years, no lie.  The paint coloring is perfect and the use of the NJO head works well here.  I also love the lighting you chose...really brings a nice overall glow to the figure.

Beyond awesome, can't wait for more!

WOW. That bespin luke with the open jacket is off the hook! I'd definitely want to tackle that myself one of these days. Kudos on the vintage snowspeeder luke as well. Very cool.
