First off thanks for ALL the awesomely kind words re my Endor Luke, he really was a low effort custom!

And here's something I knocked up today... Luke Skywalker in "Skyfire Jump Armour"

The figure was made from a TVC Lightsaber construction Luke, War Machine figure, snap kit X-Wing engines and some GI Joe land mines!! And of course he is influenced by a certain Gen1 Transformer!!!

Quite happy with how he turned out - what do you guys think?

Thanks for stopping by,

Ray

Well now that is one of the coolest Luke customs I have ever seen. Fantastic Ray. I posed a question on the front page.

The color looks great and, surprisingly, he really doesn't seem out of scale.  More like he's actually in a huge, bulky armored exo-suit used for space or harsh environment missions.  Very cool nonetheless!

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

Bad internet ate my first reply!

This is an awesome example of combining parts and lines that "shouldn't" go together into something that absolutely works a treat!  Very well-done!

Thanks lads  ;D

Glad you liked my TF Luke crossover! He was a lot of fun to paint (You were right on that Clint!) and Art you've convinced me to do a couple more in this style - namely Han and Chewie!!

Thanks again for all the comments guys :)

Best wishes

Ray

Hey Ho folks!

Here's a bunch of WIPs I have sitting on my desk at the moment. The first three are going to be my entry for the Episode VII contest

Luke Skywalker Jedi Grand master

Han Solo Admiral of the Republic

Shae Skywalker - Smuggler Fatigues

And here's a few others that aren't part of my entry into that competition!

Han Solo in Jump Armour

Shadows of the Empire Coruscant Guard

Caleb Rivers - a hunter from my Supernatural RPG

Man, I need to start painting!

WB Out!!

I love all of these!  The armored Han has piqued my interest!  (Loved your take on Luke in the IM armor...)

Looking more carefully at your GM Luke, I noticed I also used the same B-Wing pilot lower legs for my EpVII character (no name yet); sorry, it wasn't intentional (as I've been working on this guy since before I saw your posts a few days ago).

Looking forward to seeing how you paint these guys up!

Looking good Ray. That Episode 7 Han is really growing on me. I think we ought to send in the entries of this to Lucasfillm for what the fans think the new characters ought to look like.

Hey Merc! Thanks for the feedback - awesome that we used the same lower legs (great minds and all that!)

I've got Monday off and seven (!) primed WIPs on my bench, I wonder how many I can bust out before Mrs Balls gets home?????
