Ray the Supernatural hunter team are awesome. I'm a zombie nut and they'd fit in that style of universe. Plus I love theyhave cool transport. I have a question though how did you the denim paintwork? I have a figure that needs to be wearing jeans and that's better than anything I've come up with.
Cheers.
Chris.

I like the guns these two are sporting too; especially that AR. Am I wrong in thinking Maurader?

Fantastic work on the supernatural figures, Ray! I thought that Shae was my favorite of your ep 7 figures but I am really leaning to the Han solo now. Great paint on all of these.

Wow guys thanks - Vicky is pretty stoked about how these two guys came out!

@ Chris - mate the denim is nothing special, just blue acrylic then a drybrush of lighter blue. Followed by a dark Mig Wash with the excess wiped off with cotton wool. Finally another dry brushing of even lighter blue paint!

@ Tamer - yep the AR is a Maruder (Nam era) XM177E2 carbine with a suppressor and carry handle
Aimpoint added for that Blackhawk Down look...I love the Marauder stuff, they do some great ARs!

@ Clint - cheers buddy, out of the three I think that Han is my favourite too (I've found some of the recent TVC ones just too skinny. In fact it is Bespin Han thighs and feet that Shae is sporting!!!!)

@ Bubba - in all the time I've been posting on The Yards that is one of the kindest things anyone has ever said. Thanks a lot mate :)

Eventually the Mustang and Dylan's Harley will get painted up and added to a dio for Vicky's study...

More soon!

Hope you and your loved ones are having a great Easter!

Ray

Re: Superarty Blanx RC post order 66 - NEW!

Hey Guys

Here's my latest custom. It is an Early Imperial Commando. Just after the establishment of the Empire numerous former RC's were drafted into the Long Range Imperial Desert Corps. They in turn evolved into the Sandtroopers of the Galactic Civil War era...

This Commando was built using a Blanx Alpha as the super-articulated base, I then hollowed out RC armour parts to place over the Blanx

This involved a fair bit of dremel work - but I'm pretty happy with the end result!

WB Out!!

I want to hear about the improved knee work on this!

Its not like I didn't like your other Clone crossovers using the Blanx Alpha, but the knee work on this seems so much improved.

Hey there! Can you comment also on if you had to whittle down the Blanx figure before the armor would slip on? Do you have any WIP images of that process?

Thank you!

Why go through life base fig, when you can customize?
