Got to agree with you there mate - the Alien 3 'work print' is FAR superior to the theatrical version.

Talking of A3 have you cheek out the William Gibson version? The script has recently surfaced...

SLR, those Marines are just wonderful. The detailing looks especially well thought-out as everything looks just as it should. I especially like the handheld tracker.

Squads are always a favourite of mine and I think you've done an amazing job.

Oops! I'm viewing this thread on a smartphone somewhere in Thailand so apologies to Wookie Balls! Suffice it to say my comments still apply but to the correct customiser.

Awesome figures! What kind of vests did you use for the standard marines? I have 2 of them but i cant remember to which figures they belonged.
"Arent you a little short for a stormtrooper?"

Lol @ Jules - no worries mate, SLRs marines are awesome!

@ TakeshiInhaba the armour vest used for my 1.0 Marines is a mixture of Marauders SWAT vests and SW resin parts by our very own Clonehead. The Marauder vests are great and VERY easy to work with! They also make pulse rifles, flamers and the helmet mics on my figures!

@ BlackThorne - As requested here are a few more pictures of "Hound" my Weyland Yutani AI soldier and his handler AJ the team Comtech

Actually Hound is the only one of my Aliens figures who will not being getting reworked during my 2.0 patch, all of my other marines are getting complete rebuilds!

Thanks as ever for stopping by

Ray

When I was growing up I lived in the same small Cornish town as Terry English who made the CMC'S armour as well as armour for various other films of the era such as Excalibur and I was lucky enough to wear Hicks armour at one point ! Pity I don't have the photos anymore! :(
A few years later he opened a Meadery in town and it was decorated with various film props including one of the Alien suits! :)

Adam that's awesome! I'm currently working on 1:1 Aliens Pulse Rifles for Vicky and I!

Here's my next WIP - Arrow...

He's made from a Blanx Alpha and leftover bits of fodder. I don't know too much about the actual comic book character, so I'm mainly taking my cues from the TV show, but making the costume a little more extravagant!

Once the milliput cures I can paint him up!

Hound is awesome. I must have seen it somewhere before because I've totally ripped off the idea for Megatron. I hate the program Arrow (apart from when he's on the island) this figure is pretty cool though. Great work.

Haven't caught the Arrow show yet, but the character's always been an appealing one.  I like he start...interested in seeing where you go with him, esp. paint-wise.

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!
