The MTT a possibility?
« on: July 28, 2011, 12:39:24 PM »
Hasbro's sculpter Dave Vennemeyer says it'd be a great idea and that they'd love to do it here.

I thought that had been rumored to being on the list to be made.  I swore I read that somewhere.

If they do it, I expect it to have an "attack-base" mode, a la the Republic Assault Shuttle.  I've also said it would be a GREAT vehicle to turn out, along with a revamped Flash Speeder and a Gian Speeder.  We're getting new Panaka and Security Guard figs, so it would be a smart timing move.  IMO.  But I don't work for Hasbro, so all my thoughts are guesses.

Very interesting. We keep hearing hints of a repainted Slave I as the next large regular vehicle offering, but who knows.

even with free shipping, that price seems kind of high for me to pull the trigger.

I might pick this up if it goes on clearance for fifty or so, but not at that price as its a prequel vehicle. Still, everyone knows I am a sucker for big SW Ground Vehicles.

Same here Shawn. I really need to have more focus with my collection and the OT is where it is at for me. Not to mention I don't see many ways to repurpose or customize this vehicle.

I 'm thinkingt the same way. Minty VC OT trilogy will be the way to go for me rebooting. Will be moving older stuff and starting fresh...

I just saw the boys at the Yak posted they are seeing the MTT going on clearance at $64.50. Now that might be a price that makes this worth it.
