That's cool looking, buddy. Looks like inspiration for a cool diorama to me.

the last thing I want to do is put a light on a guy in his underwear.

Is that a digital effect or an actual light?  I can never tell.

That is an actual light - I leave the digi-wiz stuff to Jules.  It was really simple - I bought a pack of colored notebook dividers that included a blue.  I then set the blue one down on a piece of styrofoam over a hole, then stood my LED flashlight up underneath it and the bacta tank atop it.  poof!

Ok, here's a placeholder dio-shot I slapped together today for the latest Fixer piece...

This way, Tamer has a graphic for the front-page.  ;D

DA - that would be funny!!  If I had a push-broom the right size... hmmmmm.....

I think I'll retake the shot with a darker background, because the smoke kinda disappears.  Keera helped out by starting in on coloring the smoke without any prompting.  Yay, minions!!

The smoke is a cotton swab dipped in black waterpaint and then pulled into a cloud.  I cut the stick just at the base of the poof and it fits the BAD head-socket *perfectly*!  I think I'll paint the wall panzer grey for a good contrast color.  That should let me show off the lighter grey smoke cloud better.  Y'know...now I'm thinking...just how poseable *IS* that new Joe body?  hmmmmmmmmm....
