Argh.  During "final repainting," I discovered the last-minute replacement hips didn;t fint exactly right with the legs.  I had to remove one leg for surgery and trim a bit on the other, as well.  This is making a mess of the paintjob.  *sigh*  But at least I'm NOT screaming and throwing the figure across the room!

...yet...

 ;D

Thankee, sir!  Getting pics posted here is a good deal faster than on RS and looks better than at Yakface.  So, *most* of my pics end up over here.

Well, gee-bees, I'm calling it a night.  I *think* I've rescued the second figure - quite a bit of touch-up paint after having to remove both legs for trimming down a touch.  It is on the paint rack now, with a coat of sealer drying on it.  I'll check him over in the morning - likely need to add a bit more paint around his hips and reseal - and he'll be ready to cross the pond, as well.

While I was in the shop, I gathered up a few figs that might end up helping out with my speeder contest entry.  More eye-teasers to hang around my desk until something meshes...

Well, here's the final photos of figure #2!  He's pkg'd up and about to head across the pond for future employment.  I'm not *thrilled* with how he turned out because of the need to deviate - QUICKLY! - from the original design and I don't think the final result, while decent, is as neat as the original concept.  You can see he has a functional hanging lightsaber - I'll write up a photo-tutorial on how I managed that later this week.

He could prolly have benefitted from a scarf or something... I see now the pics make him look rather like a ... giraffe or something.  Sheesh.  Anyway, they are DONE!  And in a few minutes, I'll be carting them down to the post office to make their run to their new home.  WOOT!!

Excellent work on the figure.  I think that lightsaber attachment is great, unlike the older figures with the holes to insert lightsaber hilts.

Trooper Corr, GAR, former EOD Tech - lost his hands during a failed attempt to disarm a UXD, fell in with Kal Skirata's boys while on convalescent/reconditioning/rehab assignment on Coruscant ("Triple Zero").  This is a stupidly-easy custom to make.  Your biggest difficulty is going to be finding a GI Joe 25th BATS figure for the hands.

Fig1 - Trooper Corr, offduty attire
hands - 25th BAT
everything else - "apartment Jango"

Fig2 - Trooper Corr, gearing up prior to striking Sep cell on Coruscant in book "Triple Zero"
hands - 25th BAT
body - Death Star Gunner
armor - clone trooper in training fatigues

For this figure, I went with the DSGunner because their padded collar was a good visual match for the RC fig.  Made sense to me that they'd all use the same bodysuit.  Plus, I think they'd all be wearing arming caps under the buy'ce.

No kiddin, spud!!  I saw a set on ebay recently that was like a BATS battle-pack - something like 5 different BAT figs with different attachments and such.  THAT would have been a nifty haul!

Very nice, Corr was a great char, from those books, A series I think would and could transition into much deeper spin off series if allowed.
The story line is ripe for a ton of custom figs and dios and has been in my head for future customs of my own but the time just isn't there, but your rendition is perfect.
