;)  You know artists - they are usually their own worst critic!  He looks GREAT!!  Must be his awesome surroundings bringing him to life...   ;D

Yup - same bike!  Well, mine was the Decepticon version - Rebound, I think?  Great bike body!  Still not entirely sure what I'm going to do with it yet.  But I've got a PILE of different vehicles up for butchering.  Heck, I might build a kriffin' speeder-truck!

I got this one Joe thing - a FANG II - that would make an AWESOME entry!  But the one I got was a parts-pile...it's pretty busted up, so if I did anything with it, I'd be having to get pretty crazy with the trimming and rebuilding.

As for Helix - yeah, she won't be left unchanged by her time with me... mwahahahahaha!!!

Oh, Jules!  That G36?  That's one of my customizing projects... It's going to be part of my Mando outfit.  I'm going to try and make it look similar to the ARC Trooper blaster-rifle.

doc, what I did with my agent helix is used a tiny pin sized diamond ball on my dremel and gave her a little bit more cleavage and painted everything that was yellow a skin tone, and all of her arms.  I'm going back and touching up the harness and giving her somekind of backpack...  She's probably going to be a smuggler/merc for my 'verse.

I did see a fairly decent mando custom using her on e-bay though and I'd entertained the idea of doing a mando with her...  The one on e-bay had a different head though, I'm pretty sure it was a juno fig's head, and the head sculpt on helix is one I realy like.

anyways can't wait to see that bike.  Are you keeping it a transformer?!?

a side note one mine, do you remember the old 80's cartoon M.A.S.K.?  I got the 25th joe version of Matt Trakker and though what vehicle does a transforming vehicle specialist need.... SWOOP DROID! so now I've got to come up with a good star wars name similar to Matt Trakker and fit him into my verse somehow, or at least give him a decent backstory so he gan have a chance on e-bay!

No, I'm going to glue the bike down and have a go at seam-sealing.  Certain mods/additions need to be attached in a way that precludes retaining the transforming functions.  As for the smuggler character, check out "Platte O'Keefe" - she's a bloody close match already, I think. (old WEG D6 SWRPG character)  I need to try this Scarlett (halo jumper) head on her body, just to see.  Lotta room to work with this one!  And I gotta say, a Mando would be a rockin' approach!  But then - Mandos are like chocolate - adding some makes anything better!

Thanks for the suggestions on working with Helix - I was looking at going the "yellow = skin" route but wasn't real sure what I should do yet.

The MASK idea sounds interesting - I'd looked at grabbing some old MASK stuff recently, but haven;t gotten around to it.  I'd love to get ahold of a 25th Matt Tracker eventually!

I've discovered Windows Movie Maker.  God help us all...

Figured I might as well start a video-specific thread.

HAHA!  man I used to mess around with video editing back in my spud gunning days.  I used to have a bunch of video's out on you-tube of me blowing crap up in various ways... I think my favorite video I put out there was of a full soda can being launched out of my potato cannon and striking a cinder block... Blew that sucker to smitherines and created a realy cool looking coke vapor cloud...

anyways, can't wait to see your stuff.  I'm going to probably start a new you-tube profile for my youngest son... he has discovered how to take movies with his digital camera and the resulting hilarity is too good to keep to ourselves! lol

lol... yeah... I saw that.

Watched em too... what's with the babbling bounty hunter? should it be silent?  I watched that and silently, to myself, went... WTF!!??   LOL!

that little chase sequence was funny too but I think a different sound track would be better.

FYI... google "star wars sound effects" and you'll get alot of good sound bits to use in videos like these.

Yeah, he's silent - I don't have a mic for my computer.  And his mouth moves too slow - but WMM only goes down to .5 second displays, so I can't make him talk faster.  Yeah, I need to expand my selection of usable sound effects and music, for sure...

You know, doc, if your mic jack on your pc is 3.5mm, you can use a pair of headphones with the same size jack as a mic. Kind of crude but it works.

Interesting!
/looking/
Heh - holes are the same size... so I could use the earpiece as a low-rigged mic, then?  I'll have to try that AFTER finishing up this contest.

Now, if I just had a QUALITY video- & audio-editing software pkg, I could make Photo-Dramas!
