Cmdr Bacara was kind enough to give up his body for this project.  The head is an ARF Trooper cast from Clint, as is the repeating blaster he's toting.

Ideally, I'll find some gloss white that I can go back over the helmet with, so that it will match his armor.  This was my first shot at dremelling out a cast head/helmet to fit a larger neck-ball.  I used my new "Dremel Workstation" for the first time - it held the Dremel up off the table and at an angle, so I could control just the position of the helmet.  I need to give the helmet the "hot glue and vaseline treatment so that it will sit right without flopping about loosely.

oh that looks great and the minigun is really cool
I'll try to make a realistic ARF if I can find another ARF-trooper.

or get a cast head from Clint...

Most of my local stores have them, so I considered getting one to make a wearable/hollowed out one.

I'm actually planning on hollowing one out and then molding it so I can cast hollow ones.

Thread necro!!

Has it really been that long?  Apparently...

Ok, I have a couple of WIP's that I want to share.  First up is my entry in the Fan-Fic Customs Contest.  May I present...

FIXER!!!

He's very close to being finished, but I'd shot the pic earlier today to see how it turned out "on film" to see where I needed to work on the fig.  A standard FX7 is shown alongside for comparative purposes.
