Thanks, guys!  In addition to routine Christmas festivities, I spent the day working on non-toy customs.  AM taking pics and will get them posted so you can see what else I do.  ;)

Ok, got my Fan-Fic entry off!  As a final touch, I added some neon/uv-reactive details.

Not sure they show up real well - not at all happy with my current UV lightsource, as the camera tends to pick it up as a strong blue light and it washes out the glow from the neons.

I shot a *lot* of pics to get one I liked.  Here's one of the better ones.

If you look closely, Fixer has a red faceted 2mm Austrian crystal on one eye-lens, as well.  All the lower arms are functional in two joints and were created from FX-7 and FX-6 tool-arms.  One arm has a huge claw on it courtesy an unnamed Clone Commander's grappling rope.  I repainted most of the white panel-lines, but the markings are far from Jay's quality!  ;)  Fixer's holotat is not in evidence.  The primary reason for this is because the location of the holotat does not exist on the figure.  If you look at the FX-7 in shots from Hoth's med-bay, you can see the droid's "neck" is actually hollow - the head is supported on four panels.  The figure has five recessed panels in the proper area, but the construction of the fig makes hollowing out and detailing the neck-stump problematic.

As I've been cleaning up my workbench and making jewelry, I've been finding bits and pieces that I may someday end up adding onto Fixer - much like Lucas, the droid may not be a completed work... ever...

Well, I totally disassembled the base FX-7 and painted it with a Krylon metallic blue spray-can.  After that, the detail work was done with the basic WalMart craft paints - Ceramcoat, Americana, Delta, Folkart, and such.  Even the UV/Neon colors were available in the craft-paint section.
