Hit an out of the way Walgreens tonight and scored another Classic Dalek!

I think I have purchased every Dalek within a 25 mile radius and I still want more... :)

Scored an original Wave 1 Dalek thanks to a friend on Joe Customs and hit 5 Below and scored some great customizing fodder.

That is some nice fodder. I haven't seen anything worth picking up in months it seems.

Finally picked up The Walking Dead Season 4 on blu-ray the other day. Love that show.

The other day I bought a video game controller off amazon. I play old school Nintendo games on my computer. I have original Nintendo, Super Nintendo and Game Boy games. I did have a controller, it was an Airflo controller but some of the buttons aren't working properly. I bought a Super Nintendo controller, but it has a USB plug on it. Its an exact replica of the Super Nintendo controller, its just missing the Nintendo logo at the top. They also have original Nintendo and N64 controllers but the SNES controller feels more comfortable. They had another one where the buttons were colored, but when I owned a SNES I had the basic one where the buttons were purple. I also got it for nostalgia  purposes. Its just so cool playing old Nintendo games with a Nintendo controller again.

Nice. They just opened a Nintendo vintage store in my hometown if you can believe it. My daughter wants to go look. She loves Mario.

Let me go check it out and I will snap a few pics to see if there are things you might like. It was kinda cool to see it go in in as rural a place as I live to be honest.

Aside from a bad sore throat that caused me to miss a podcast recording, I had a really good weekend.

I picked up 2 Schleich Knights' Castles on clearance for $29.99 each (regularly $99.99 each). These things are MASSIVE!

I also got an incredible present from my wife, the 20" "Pacific Rim" Kaiju Knifehead that I have been wanting for quite some time now but was unable to justify the cost.

Pics of the castle componants with a 4" scale figure.

In each box you get:

2 three level towers
4 short wall sections
2 tall wall sections
1 working drawbridge section.

I bought 2 of them so I have double the number of sections.

I finally got to set up most of my Schleich Knights' Castles. I still have 2 towers, another drawbridge and another narrow wall piece left as the table wasn't big enough for everything. I will set it up in another configuration once I free up a bigger table in my hobby room.

Something that doesn't really belong into collectibles but still interesting to read and own, especially if outdoor, camping, bushcraft or survivalist fan.

Dan, sure does remind me of any of the castle scenes from LOTR and the Hobbit. Awesome set up and what a great price on those castles. I envy your proximity to great places to shop.

Serg, those books I would like to own.

Got my hands on a World of Nintendo Luigi figure from ebay. I'm going to put him right next to my Mario figure from the same line. Nintendo did an awesome job with these figures and the articulation with them.
