Monday Mail Call!

Got 3 awesome trade packages full of great accessories including a small Covenant arsenal to work towards filling all of  the backpack slots on my Grunt Mules!

I picked up 6 of these "Hanging Organizer Trays" after work at Dollar Tree for $1.25 each as I immediately recognized their diorama potential.

They will make for great sci-fi hallway walls with some modifications (greebles, repaint, etc.) although making hallway corners corners will require some more advanced fabrication techniques as the ends do not have shapes conductive to cornering. They can even be doubled up to make taller walls with some glue and reinforcements on the reverse sides.

The open organizer trays can either be sealed off completely and turned into consoles or sealed off internally at different depths depending on how you want to utilize them.

I think they have great potential for inexpensive diorama material.

I haven't taken pictures yet, but today at my local Target I found the Jazwares Halo Atriox, Skirmisher, and the newest iteration of the Marine. Pretty cool! (Plus a Koska Reeves - tho' that's Star Wars).

The square pegboards are pretty interesting and can be used for several sci-fi purposes (wall/floor panels, pallets, etc.).

Friday Mail Call and discount store haul!

The first 2 pieces (my order is split across 3 deliveries as no one warehouse had all 5 items I ordered) of my Amazon order (larger dinos) arrived today!

I found the 2 smaller dinos at DII, the discount store near my office in Passaic! They are brand new (just hitting retailers now) and pretty hard to find at the moment. They were $1 more expensive than Target or Walmart would be, but I would have wasted way more than that in gas running from store to store hunting them.
