Received an awesome surprise package from Cap of Joe Customs today!

So much awesome packed into one box: 2 vintage "Jurassic Park: Chaos Effect" Velociraptors with capture gear, a CollectA dead Stegosaurus figurine, a Boss Fight Studio alien gray skull (in blood red) and a vintage carded DC Direct "Hellblazer" figure!

That's a pretty eclectic combination of stuff. I always thought the chaos effect dinosaurs were fun, so "good for you" on those. Great surprise though.

Dan I could see you creating that epic first scene with dinos in Jurassic Park you have so many now. Do you think you have passed 10,000 dinos yet?

Nowhere near that, maybe 1,200 and that is erring on the conservative side.

Saturday Mail Call and Walmart score!

I received a box full of "Halo" diorama goodies from a trade on one of the Halo toy pages.

I hit Walmart after work for groceries and found 3 more feathered Atrociraptors! This brings me to 22, just 2 more to go and I will be happy :)

Today's TJMaxx/Marshalls clearance ("Jurassic World: Dominion" Minis) and thrift store scores!

The JW minis were $4.50/set.

The large electronic "Jurassic World" Indominus Rex ($6.98- has paint wear on teeth and toenails), vinyl T-Rex ($3.99- has paint wear on raised areas like eye ridges, etc.) and "Star Wars" A-Wing fighter ($.99- missing one gun and both projectiles but otherwise perfect) are from American Thrift in Passaic.

The "Avatar" figurines ($8.50/set- look to be Disney park/store items), "Pokémon" figurine and gargoyle ($5.50/pair) are from Once Upon A Child thrift store in Parsippany.

The Gargoyle is articulated but has no markings so I have no idea who manufactured it. There are open areas on the bottoms of the feet that look like a diorama base of some kind would be pegged into them.

After work thrift store score!

The electronic "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" Triceratops (top) has excessive paintwear on the horns and frill spikes, but that is easily remedied.

The knock off Chap Mei Styracosaurus (bottom) is one of the non-articulated solid vinyl ones found in the various gift sets found during the Holidays at places like Burlington. It also has paintwear on the horns, but I plan on completely repainting the entire dino so it doesn't matter.

They were $1.99 each!

Today's thrift store haul!

Most items were $.99 or $1.99 each. The green vinyl T-Rex was $2.99 and the small bundle of "Spawn" accessories was $3.99 (more than I wanted to pay, but I REALLY wanted that shield).

I spent just over $13 for everything.

The partial construction tower is HUGE (there is a pic with a 4" figure standing on it. The tower, "Sonic The Hedgehog" backdrop and "Lightyear" Zurg cannon will be harvested for diorama or vehicle parts (the Zurg cannon would make for excellent engines on a ship).

Nice! That tower is a great find, and you are totally right about the Zurg cannon for engines.

I got my Reaction Black hole figures. The cards look cool, but they were all bent up, but I was going to open them anyway. Bob looks like he could use a blackwash.  Like most reaction figures they'll make good diorama fodder figures.

Today's score is my absolute FAVORITE in years!

I got a brand new (1.5 month old) kitten!

This is Arthur Jr., named after my beloved tuxedo cat that passed away last year at the ripe old age of 15.
