Thursday Dragons haul!

The Hallmark "House Of The Dragon" ornament was 50% off so it only cost me $9.99!

The little articulated metallic dragons were from a dollar store called "1$Zone" and were $1.25 each.

After work Walgreens clearance score!

These Hallmark "Stranger Things" ornaments were 50% off so they only cost me $4.99 each.

I bought them to be dwarf Demogorgons for my 3.75"/4" figures. I have a bunch of the Funko action figures and these will supplement them in dioramas.

First Mail Call of 2024!

I ordered this feathered Raptor on Amazon last week to hit the free shipping minimum for a medically needed non-hobby item. Shipping would have been over $8, and this guy was only $6, and I would rather get another cool feathered dinosaur  for less than the cost of shipping my needed item than pay the shipping LOL

My first hobby related purchase of 2024!

I grabbed a huge tote full of "Hot Wheels" track sets at the thrift store for $5.99!

The reason I grabbed it, as I do not collect "Hot Wheels", was the dinosaur fossil pieces. The 2 brown skulls are worth the $5.99 I paid for the whole tote. The other bone and rock pieces are just gravy (the grey pieces have fossils sculpted into them that can be used as well). All of these pieces will be used for future diorama projects.

The remaining track pieces (3rd pic) will be given to my father the next time I see him so he can give them to my 3 year old nephew that loves cars.

After work thrift store haul!

The "Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous" Carnotaurus was $3.99.

The 2 Schleich dinos were $2.99 each (the Brachiosaurus goes for close to $30 in stores).

The vinyl tote from the Disney movie "Dinosaur" was $.99 and I don't think it had ever been opened!

The "Star Wars" "Mission Fleet" Razor Crest was $2.99 and even still has some of the weapons in the weapons rack.

After work thrift store haul!

The big red/black dino is one of the best Chap Mei dinosaurs they ever did and was $6.99.

The smaller 2 tone green knock-off of the larger red/black Chap Mei dino was $3.99.

The Chap Mei elephant was $6.99.

The red dragon was $4.99.

The blue "G.I.Joe" H.I.S.S. Tank was only $1.99!

The cashier told me that they got a ton of toys after Christmas and to check back each day as they put more stuff out each day. She said that there were more dinosaurs in the back that will be put out soon.

After work Walmart clearance score!

The Walmart closest to my house has marked the Aquaman figures down to $1 each. I grabbed 6 Orm figures for the Atlantean laser staff and a Black Manta for the sword. They also had 1 sub set for $7 so I grabbed it. I want to turn it into a small attack fighter.

I am trying not to spend any unnecessary money on my hobby this year, but I could not pass up such inexpensive fodder 😁

After work Target clearance score and Wednesday Mail Call!

I had an absolutely horrendous day at work so I needed to do a little retail therapy afterwards. I hit Target looking for the new "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" toys, but they didn't have any.

I did, however, score 2 "Jurassic World: Hammond Collection" T-Rexes for $12.49 each! I swore I would never buy another Rex after all of the assorted manufacturers' versions I have picked up over the decades, but I could not pass up 2 of the absolute BEST Rexes ever made for a dirt cheap price! I didn't have a Hammond Rex, but now I have 2 😁

I also found a near full display (9 of 12 pieces) of the Zaru "5 Surprise" "Dino Strike: Color Change" blind ball packages for $.79 each! I haven't opened them as of yet so I do not know which dinos I got, but will post pics when I do.

I also received a trade package from a friend in the UK full of awesome Palisades Toys "Army Of Darkness" medieval accessories, a complete "G.I.Joe" Zombie-Viper, and a bunch of other goodies!

The 2 vinyl dinos (Papo Triceratops and a Schleich one that I cannot recall the species name) were $1.99 each at the thrift store (they go for around $30 each in stores).

The bagged items are another of that modular tree house playset that I got a few months back. This one has many of the same pieces as the previous one, but also has some new ones like a wishing well. This was $6.99 at the thrift store (these sets go for $60-$100 in stores).

Today's Walmart and Five Below scores!

I found another $2 Dark Flash at Walmart while grabbing more groceries.

I found this lone cool "Teeny Tinies" Market Place playset at Five Below for $5. If you remember, I bought a ton of the Sushi Restaurant playsets from this same company last year. I don't remember seeing this one last year so maybe they will be carrying new sets this year. They also had a Christmas set with cookies and other assorted holiday treats, but I had no interest in it. If I see more of these Market Place sets, I will grab them as 1/18 compatible foods are hard to come by.
