After work thrift store score!

I found this Universal Studios thempark "Jurassic World" Dino prod role play toy for $1.99! It can be broken down for diorama parts, and the photoreflective parts are really cool looking!

I also picked up the "Star Wars" A-Wing Fighter, missing the side guns, for only $.99!

After work thrift store score!

I grabbed another of these knock-off Schleich Velociraptors for $.99!

I grab every one I see cheap as they are a great size to act as mounts for 3.75"/4" figures as you can see in this image!

Today's dollar store (vinyl dinos and spider) and Hobby Lobby (glass jars) scores!

The vinyl aquatic dinos and spider were $1.25 each at the $ Zone. You can see how well they scale to a 4" figure in the 3rd image

The glass mini jars were 50% off of their original $7.49, so they came to $3.99 (including the tax).

I got a Hammond collection T-rex on an ebay auction. I payed more than the original MSRP, but not by much. The only way to get it cheaper this late in the game is if mattel goes ahead and releases the bull rex from lost world. It's a great figure, rubber skin glass eyes great articulation and paint. Im partial to the original trilogy dinosaurs, so it was a must have.

That looks splendid, especially in the diorama - just pop a stromtrooper in his mouth  ;)

Today's thrift store score!

I got everything pictured for $1.99!

The cartoony dragons will get their wings and tails harvested for future projects.

The round monster is an "Ultraman" kaiju if I am not mistaken (says Bandai 1989 on the foot) and will make for a cool alien creature.

Today's Dollar Tree and Target scores!

The "Micro Minis" blind bags each contain 8 miniature food items (same molds as the "Teeny Tinies" line from Five Below) and were $1.25 each at Dollar Tree!

The "Batman" Clayface figure was $8.99 at Target and will be used as a mud/earth golem for one of my wizards.

Today's Marshall's, thrift store and mail call scores!

The "Young Jedi Adventures" exclusive "Speeder Challenge Pack" was clearanced at $4 at Marshall's! The speederbikes can work with 3.75" figures with very slight modifications. The 3 figures will go to my niece and nephew next time I see them.

The green dragon, moon and the huge tracked military vehicle were $3.99 (as part of a large bag of vinyl animals- the remainder of which will also go to my neice and nephew), $.99, and $1.99 respectively at the thrift store! I wanted that tracked vehicle at Macy's last Christmas but was not going to spend the insane $39.99 that they wanted for it, so I am VERY happy to have found it complete and unbroken for $1.99 after work today 😁

The "G.I.Joe: Classified" Scrap-Iron missile launcher drone, blast effects and missiles, along with the 2 awesome dinos (one a vintage Hasbro "Jurassic Park III" electronic Velociraptor!) are from a trade package!

Today's thrift store score!

I got 2 ENORMOUS bags of "HeroScape" terrain tiles for $5.99 in total! I have been wanting these things for diorama use for over 30 years but never got any because the game was too expensive, so imagine how happy I was when I saw them sitting on the shelf!

The Schleich dinos are rough, lots of paint wear and the Therizinosaurus needs the tip of his tail resculpted, but for $.99 (Therizinosaurus), $1.99 (Carnotaurus) and $2.99 (unknown therapod), I couldn't pass them up when they usually go for $19.99 (Carnotaurus) - $29.99 (Therizinosaurus) in stores.

Saturday Mail Call!

After waiting almost 2 full years since the pre-order, I had to wait an additional day to receive these figures as my package took a detour around northeast NJ (they were supposed to arrive yesterday) 🙄

I haven't opened them yet, but I know to be careful as there are apparently rampant QC issues and I don't want to break them. You would figure at over $40/figure (including shipping), they should be more or less perfect right out of the box...

I picked up this small container of "Mentos Gum" today at Dollar Tree as it would work very well for a sci-fi supply drum.

The gum isn't bad, but loses it's flavor after about 5 minutes, but for $1.25 each, I will grab at least 5 more for diorama use.
