After work today I hit TRU and found the Funko ReAction SDCC "The Dark Crystal" Landstrider With Jen 2pk!

I have never had any interest in the ReAction line as they featured soft sculpts and 70's articulation, but this series is the first to feature modern quality sculpts (they still feature the 5POA articulation though) and I LOVE "The Dark Crystal" so I will be getting this entire line.

Here they are with a 3.75" BFS Spartan for scale:

At the same time, I also found 10 more Papo Cyberdragons for $3 each!

Then, finally, tonight when my wife and I went out to dinner, we stopped at another TRU and I found another Papo Cyberdragon and a Papo Chimeara.

The best part was that the Chimeara was only $.03 and the Cyberdragon did not have a tag so the cashier just rang up the Chimeara twice! Total cost: $.06! :)

Dark Crystal stuff is awesome. I didn't even know the ReAction line was getting Dark Crystal. I could easily get sucked into getting all of these myself.

I stopped in Barnes & Noble Thursday night and noticed they are selling more collectible items. I picked up another Super Mario Bros. SH Figuarts set, this one being Set D.  I still got a few left to get. They are very good sets.

Scored 6 Schleich Feed Sets at 2 different TRUs for only $3 each!

I picked up these 3 bags of awesome GITD decorative stones at Michaels today for only $3.20 each as I had 50% off coupons.

They will be used in a diorama as ore on an alien world.

TRU haul for today.

The Schleich Therizinosaurus was only $13 (down from almost $30) after being pricematched to www.Walmart.com. I have wanted one of these for awhile but kept passing because of the price, but when I saw the sale on www.Walmart.com, I utilized TRU's seldom mentioned pricematching policy.

The 18" "Warcraft" figure was reduced to $24.95 and there was an additional 30% off sale due to the impending DVD release of the movie so it only cost $17.89! Again, I have been wanting 1 for a bit now to represent an Uber Troll (larger species than a Great Troll) in my fantasy display but the original $39.99 price tag made me wait. I made a custom tree trunk mace for him a few weeks back that still needs painting.

After getting my hair cut this morning, Liz and I ran some pre-hurricane errands.

At the same dollar store I found those dragons and those lighters with the great metal fronts I found these awesome skulls in their Halloween set up.

These skulls are different that the other 2 varieties I have in that they have more simian features (smaller ocular orbits and longer mandibles) than the others. They will be used in a future to be determined diorama project.

Stay safe with that hurricane stuff Dan. I was hoping it would send some rain our way, but  no luck. Ain't it sad when you don't want it to be pretty for labor day weekend!

Dollar store diorama fodder haul thanks to my awesome wife!

These 2 bird skeletons are huge (7") and are articulated (beak, neck, wings) and will be used for Gryffin skeletons after modification.

The fanged skull is about 5" and will be part of a future fantasy environment.

The plants are 12" for the short green one and 18" for the blue/purple ones. They will be cut down for shorter plants (maybe 2.5" - 3.5") for a future alien jungle diorama.

I also got this McFarlane Toys "X-Files" diorama element at a church sale on my block for $.50 after we got home today!
