Recently I traded a couple of my 6" customs for a ton of 50th anniversary Gi Joe figures. They were mint in box, but I told him to go ahead and bag them, since I'll do that anyway, and that saved him some shipping cost. last time I owned Joes was in the early 90's before they started getting weird. So naturally I wanted the 25th anniversary figures, because they're remastered versions of the originals. However some characters look too much like Village People, like Shipwreck and Spirit Iron-Knife, so a modern version was welcomed. For the most part they are re paints of the 25s, but some are new sculpts. The re-paints I dont like are, Bazooka and Dusty, they're painted in that useless aquaflage. Aquaflage only works if you're thrown overboard, in that case you want to be seen. But I digress. Shipwreck and Spirit are re paints of the updated 30th anniversary figures, and they are awesome. The new scupts that I like the most are Gung-Ho and Destro. Gung-ho is taller and bigger than the 25, which is more accurate. He comes with an awesome minigun and ammo belt. Destro's head sculpt looks great, it's more like a helmet/mask than just a chrome head. There's much more, but those were the stand outs. The 50th in general have very cool modern spec ops like accessories. I thought it was a great deal, even if I couldn't negotiate Snow Job, but I can get him easily enough.
