At K-Mart I picked up 6 "WWE Create A WWE Superstar" accessory sets for the shields and torches for $2.25 each. The armor and helmets are too big for anything I customize so they will go into my Swap Shop.



At A.C. Moore, I picked up a cool "dragon eye" ring for $1.90. I plan on removing the ring and keeping the centerpiece for a mystic object.

Found another 2.5" "World Of Nintendo" "Metroid" tonight at another Wal-Mart.



This particular Metroid was found exactly as photographed- someone had torn it free of it's plastic tray and the small clear stand was missing. I bought it anyway and they gave me a 10% discount due to the missing stand. I can fashion another stand eventually but it can stand on the 4 talons just fine so there is no real rush. Now I only need 4 more!

My Amazon order arrived today!



I ordered some more Bandai effects (violet "Wind", blue "Thunder", a second blue Figure Rise "Aura" and a blue "Energy Aura") for my dioramas and 4 Schleich mini feathered Utahraptors.

The Toys R Us "Animal Planet" set was $2.13 including sales tax after a 20% coupon and my $10 in R Rewards. I had a coupon and R Rewards that were going to expire. I already had 3 or 4 of the aquatic dino in this set but you can never have enough of this cool looking creature. I never had the vehicle in this set so it is new to me.

Shanna was $3.18 including sales tax at GameStop. I have been watching Shanna figures on clearance for quite awhile now but they never dipped below $7 so I grabbed this one the second I saw that sub $3 price tag! She will be a barbarian woman in my fantasy diorama.

Total cost of this haul: $5.31

Scored these glass reptile eye jewellery pieces at A.C. Moore for $2.40 (including tax) after a 55% off coupon.



They will be used for future projects. They also had another set with eyes in red/yellow/orange tones that I will get another time.

I received a trade package today with 2 more Lakks Pacific "World Of Nintendo" 2.5" Metroids!



Now I only need 2 more to hit the desired amount of 12 for my diorama!

I didn't intend to spend any fun money today while running my responsible adult errands, but sometimes you see clearance bargains you cannot pass up!



I hit the TRU in Totowa as I was out that way and scored the very last "Animal Planet" set of articulated mini dinosaurs with the feathered raptor that they had. These sets were originally $9.99 are being clearanced out (hopefully to make way for new sets) at $4.99. I love feathered dinos so I had to get it despite the fact I already had one.





After visiting Liz at work for lunch, I hit the TRU in Paramus just to see if they had any more of the dino sets but they did not. They did, however, have the 6" "Warcraft" movie figures clearanced from $19.99 down to $4.99. They clearanced these a few months back but every TRU I visited only had the 2 human figures not the Orcs. They must have found a case in the storeroom recently as there were 4 Durotans and a Blackhand hanging on the pegs. I snapped them up instantly as you cannot beat 75% off of great gigantic monster figures!



I had some 55% off coupons for A.C. Moore so I picked up the other set of plastic dragon eyes I wanted and a cool copper octopus pendant that will all be used for future dioramas. The eyes came to $2.40 and the octopus was $1.90 after taxes

Little late with this, but I went to Super Mega Fest on April 8th in Marlborough, MA. I was going to post these pickups but got another stomach bug a few days later (once was enough).

- There was a booth where you could get your photo taken in front of a green screen, and they could add in just about any background you wanted. I went with a Mario background, of course.

- I grabbed this Super Mario Bros. 3 3D display. After tax it was only $13 and change, and Mario 3 is one of my favorite games.

My Mom would have been 62 on May 5th. I stopped in a Gamestop I don't normally visit and found this awesome Super Mario Bros. box art display. She got me into Mario/Nintendo so I find it very fitting I found this of all days, on her birthday.
